Sorry for bombarding this conversation. I'm an ardent fan of all your writers here and been a silent reader to feed my Love and Interests in Adilie.

I'm so compelled to write about the part, where he holds her hand and guides her towards him. Takes her hand towards him. More or less like giving himself to her. Telling her, he is hers so very subtly.

It's in so much contrast to him telling her not to enter his room. He's always kept her away. More than the hug, the fact that he took her hand towards him was poignant for me. How he meant that she could hold him, she could touch him, she could hug him. He was giving her, her haq.

This is what makes it heart-wrenching. It wouldn't have been so, if he would have just directly hugged her. He got her close to him, conveying to her she could be close and should be close him.

Oooofff. I've watched the episode 5 times already. God knows how many more times I'd have to watch this to get over it.

Beautifully put! 👏.....you described it so nicely......yes, by guiding her hands to him, he gave himself to her and gave her the right, the haq to touch him, hold him......and it was just heartbreakingly beautiful the sensitivity with which they showed it.....there was that initial awkwardness and then a firm resolve in Adi that he won't back down and he completed the task of finally bringing her to him and finding his home in her.

This episode!! I mean I cannot even. I cannot remember the last time I have watched scene on tv or movies 6 times on repeat. The direction, camera angles, background score and these two absolute powerhouses of acting weaving magic on screen, absolutely mesmerizing us with the intensity of emotions. I am actually weak kneed today.

I had seen an interview of Gashmeer Mahajani about Imlie in which he had said something to the effect of , of course the audience will like my work, I am that good. I remember raising an eyebrow at his confidence and maybe a hint of smugness. I thought he was really good until these last 10 days. Now, I think he is brilliant. Hell yes, he has every freaking right to say things like that. That dude .... his voice modulation during that long scene....oof. Sumbul ke kya kehne, she is a star. A standing ovation for these two when my knees decide to support me again.

Basically this scene showed once again that Adi too is like his father....he expresses his love in gestures, not in formal declarations.....and that is what he gave in this scene to Imlie today....and the beauty is she understood what he told her without him having to give her an official "I love you".....the beauty is that this is the Adi who had found a shikayat waali poem more powerful an expression of love than any "I love you" in 7 years.....that is the Adi that responded to Imlie today and gave her an expression of love unlike any....and Imlie being the one who knows him more than himself...totally understood what he gave her there too.

Right one needs to have the full understanding of the characters and story to get that subtle flip and what it means at this point it was astonishing to see that come almost earth shattering ke yeh kya ho gaya did he really..

Who cares about filmy superficial I love yous when your guy can make you feel like you are his everything so beautifully and in such a beautiful moving manner .. any I love you is just a mehhh in front of all that we got to witness today and will never mean more than a formal whatever check the box . The darja in his life that he gave imlie and the way he gave it to her can never be matched by any stupid let's do a routine I live for the sake of a lollypop will ever match even 1% of this

Totally agree with bold and I would like to add she got it and understood it with the same emotion that he was trying to convey as I right meaning samjhi caz she is essentially that too earthy zameen se Judi and sachi a girl who says whatever comes to her mind beshak kadwa .. they are so alike in that way and that connects them ...today she was mirroring the adi that we saw initially in Delhi with her retorts .. though they were coming form deep deep hurt .. and adi was more denial but it was such a smart shift to show how the situation flipped she became the adi and sirf kuch lamhe he had to face that from.her and he fell on his knees followed him around the whole gaoon in desperation kuch lamhe nahi ke paaya adi woh jo usne dia lol

I had the same thought while watching the episode,should we get an extra credit for in depth analysis that we do for each episode😂😂

I wish the team knows how much we enjoy the show and how we decipher every scene .They deserve to know how we all go crazy after every episode.Itna in depth analysis har koi school mein nahi kiya hoga!!😄😂

How are these guys so good!! GM portrays so well! And as someone mentioned they were Adi and Imlie and not GM-ST. Today's episode blows my mind.

Everything was so beautiful. I'm so glad Adi has found his home. He's changing as a person as well. Eagerly waiting to see how things shape up. Don't know how he'd be at T house, or with Malini. He's going to miss Imlie so terribly. But I'm sure he'll be happy knowing he's cleared his conscience with Imlie, and to also know that Imlie is there with him always.

Finally at long last, a lot of answers were provided by Aditya. phew... Imlie got her answers too and so did we. 😆

Imlie kept pushing Adi saying he has done more than enough for her and her family, it is time for him to return home. He did not want to hear that and wanted her to return with him back to Dilli and kept egging her on. We waited with bated breath to see if Imlie pigal jayegi, Adi ko apne gutno mein dekh kar.. nahi.. she is made of sterner stuff and saw through his words yet again. She was furious that he lied yet again and expected her to forget/forgive him. He keeps making things worse for her, much harder for her to turn her back on him, as she has to learn to survive on her own. Aww... it was truly awesome what she has undergone and come out stronger.

The way she asked him 'kab tak' how long he will be with her, protect her or walk by her side, in sync was again that brought BS back to earth. He does not want to leave her behind and return home alone.

The rain again played an imp role on their lives. First, it bound them together forcibly and today, it made them make promises to each other, of their own volition. ❤️ How lovely was the scene in the hut where I was like omg, is this real, am I seeing this.. Thank god we got no BTS on this as this would ruined the surprise for US ALL. 😆 In a daze still thinking over this scene of Adilie where they said it all, how much they matter to each other, how Adi thinks that Imlie is his dhaal, fierce protector, his muse, his strength and when she became all that from his majboori, zimmedaari to his saansein rukh jaati hai agar woh nahi hai tho.

The way both feld awkward, sitting on the cot like it was their SR... the way Adi hesitated to reach out to cup her face or pull her to him, finally he gathered the courage to pull her close to him. The hug was pure and heartfelt.

Adi could barely even utter Malini's name here today and guess he did not want to spoil their moment, as he has thrown her name at Imlie many times, hurting her immeasurably. His confession that he could not breathe in his house without her, his acknowledgement that she knows him better than himself, his promise that he will always think of her, will you think of me too.. aww... BS apna dil mein Imlie apni ho gayi, bas gayi, bas ho gayi. There was no need to mention pyaar at all, it was screaming with every word they said. ❤️

Has he made peace that she won't return back with him to Dilli, gotten over his jealousy of Pari.. ah that is question for another day.

For now, I am over the moon with the episode today..

I just wanna say episodes like today are the reassurance to audience out there that good storytelling still exists. that talent still is there and people are capable to deliever still.. there is hope for ITV..

The sadness of it all....oh my. Aditya reaching his breaking point and with such clarity was fascinating. He now needs to reach the finality of that clarity and that is what we will get when they return to Delhi. How can this man or this woman survive without the other? As much as she did not want him following her, that is how much Imlie wanted Aditya to be there. They will miss each other terribly if they do not return together.

And their honesty. What is with that clear cut truth between them that all the tripping, catching and eye locks of the world are never going to replace? Such elegance in that conversation. He has no ego with accepting that she matters and she does not need anything else.

Re: the elegance and honesty....word.....a scene like this makes me feel I got my payoff in investing all this time and energy into obsessing over this story and characters😆.....a thousand times thankful they never made them the typical LLHH couple and still brought them to this realization, this point so beautifully *touchwood*

@bold: LOL and that I guess we will find out in the next phase. They both have an inkling that the goodbye will be hard....but I think after a confession like this, they will find it doubly hard....the real test will begin when they part this time......I think the hostel track is coming - or Imlie wouldn't have mentioned the hostel today. Adi will leave on his own, I don't think she will go with him this time.

What I'm looking forward to in the next phase.....Adi realizing the true magnitude of the mess he's made.....lol and the suffocation that will actually set in once he realizes some more how wrong him and Malini always were for each other.

It's amazing that he found the courage to tell Imlie his truth even before he fully realized all his problems with Malini.....I suppose also cuz as he keeps saying....he came to PD to get an answer for his bechaini...and the answer was Imlie.....the moment he got the answer, he had to tell Imlie.....the rest he still has to process I guess.

And I am so.sorry to all it is taking me so long I haven't managed managed even get to your posts still caz my own thoughts are everywhere but I assure you I will read them bit by bit.. plz thoda sa maafi deso humka

+ I can also reconnect Adi's following Imaliya as the discussion between Prakash and Imaliya during dance sequence that he used to follow her because she liked walking ahead .❤️
