Yes, definitely. It hit Adi hard when she asked if she really is sadak ki dhool....in that moment, it suddenly hit him how he too has contributed in lowering her self-esteem, her respect in this house by restricting where she can go.

That is why he took her to his room with respect....elevating her to that equal status in a long overdue gesture....removing that "stigma" of her supposedly being of inferior status and that is why she can't enter his room....It wasn't his original intention regarding the room entry ban, but that is what it ended up making Imlie feel....which is why he decided to remove the room entry ban in this impulsive gesture.

Dev and his Mom are both spineless losers....I feel no sympathy for their token gestures towards Imlie. As for AC....well atleast she is consistent😆.....unlike Dev and his mom who keep crying uselessly but can never actually take a stand for Imlie.

And I have to mention one more thing.....Tripathis claim that Imlie is like family to them....so why do they keep silently listening for so long each time AC calls Imlie a naukraani over and over? Why doesn't a SINGLE person speak up to say that Imlie is NOT a naukraani? Even Tripathis are no less than Dev sometimes in just doing mealy mouthed statements but never really doing much to stick up for Imlie's respect in the face of outsiders demeaning her.

I had to laugh at DC ka lame daant to AC and noone actually finding that ajeeb too ke how he says 2 chains thay like why ? Tumhari Amma ainvayein hi kyon malini ke saath imkie ke liye chains banwati phir rahi hai? 🤪 esp after all the allegations and tamasha that has happened in regards to Imlie and his "special bonding"

LOL it's all about DESTINY again, right? Adi ka intention toh yeh bhi nahin tha ki uski thaali se sindoor udke pura Imlie ko rang de😆.....but wohi hua in PD😆. He said then also that this sindoor isn't meant for her, but it found it's way to Imlie.

So same thing now with this room entry....he did it as a humane gesture to give her respect that he had otherwise denied her.....but destiny still remembers that Imlie is his first wife😆....toh karva diya dono ka grahpravesh saath mein.

Adi ka INTENTION humesha kuch aur hota hai aur baat kahin aur chali jaati hai😆.....iska reverse happens with things like the gift situation....wahaan bhi INTENTION is dumbo ka general gift dene ka tha but diya ek RED outfit on V-day....lol ab uska significance kisi bhi normal insaan ko samajh aa jaayega except this gadha😆.

Anyways, wohi toh irony hai....Adi-Imlie both entered the room together in a very innocent way....Imlie was just innocently happy to finally be getting that respect from him and he was smiling cuz he wanted to do something to make her happy.....neither of them were thinking from a husband-wife angle....but the symbolism showed that they are tied together even if they don't realize it.

I'm not even expecting any realization from Adi but yes, it's high time they evolve his behavior towards Imlie...which it seems might be happening with him deciding to make amends. He will retreat again only if realization hits him like a bolt from the blue or if Malini as usual guilt trips him over supposedly becoming distant from her.

This isn't the first time Malini is having doubts.....that's a constant backdrop....but yeah, Malini might become more insecure in the coming days about Adi-Imlie.....but I also think Sundar will become an unwitting shield for Adi-Imlie to protect them from Malini's doubts😆....Malini will again and again shake off her doubts thinking ki ek toh Imlie is a bacchi and second, that Imlie-Sundar like each other so no chance that there could be anything between Adi-Imlie😆.

I actually feel there are higher chances of Adi-Imlie bonding over Malini's disappearance....emotional consoling hogi....Adi has apologized to Imlie just in time for her to feel comfortable hopping onto his bike in an instant to go find Malini😆....just two days back, Imlie would have hesitated more before trying this with Adi😆.

And that too bina anyone telling her too lapak ke bhaith gayi😆 ek dafah ki tutorial se iska kaam ho gaya and adi didn't even object one bit in hurry 😆

Haan yeh bhi sahi hai....lol Tripathis are so used to AC demeaning them also that they barely blink😆. But still, I feel that Imlie being called a naukraani over and over again is a bigger issue than AC taunting Tripathis about being from a lower status than her. She basically dehumanized Imlie over and over again. Tripathis waise toh Imlie ko beti jaisi maante hain....would they keep quiet if AC called Rupi a naukraani someday too?

Yehi farak hota hai ek baat ko kehne mein aur usko actually prove karne mein.....and I will wait to see how Tripathis actually stand up for Imlie's respect when the trying times actually come. Ultimately Imlie bechaari ki bas uski Amma hain aur uske Dadda.....Tripathis jitna marzi parties throw kar lein, if they can't speak up and say that Imlie is not a naukraani, then the whole thing gets rendered mostly moot.

Exactly. Tripathi's are dumb. Dadi ne 2 hafte pehle hi imlie ke liye chain bna li. Jab ki imlie ke birthday ka toh malini ko khud 2 din pehle pta chala. Malini ko bhi weird nhi laga achanak se yeh chains kaha se ayi. 🤓

I think Malini's character was one dimensional but they have finally got the hang of her and have started giving her layers in this past week. In fact, now its a very interesting character. They have made her a perfect blend of goodness and insecurity. Her center is Aditya's love and as soon as she even gets a hint of his attention diverting, her defense mechanism rises. Outwardly she comes of as a strong woman with strong opinion but she is not able to handle opposition especially from Aditya, as in her mind the difference of opinion automatically leads to loss of love. I guess this comes from seeing her parents who might have had a lot of different opinions or fight especially after Dev came from PD. In her child's mind, the fights, arguments led to the loss of love between them as I do not think she is aware of the background story. Hence, even a hint of that between them leads her to ask for that assurance that she is still moon of his world.

Also, I think she hates not being the center of Aditya's attention, hence every time she finds his focus on any thing other than work or her, she tries to pull it towards her. Mostly its her stern voice which basically indicates that she is caught Aditya with his hand in a cookie jar😆 and we see his guilty expression.. I guess they have got used to this in the past 7 years. Other than this, she is an epitome of goodness like when she made the cake for Imlie. She will go the extra mile to help someone or make their life comfortable, in short, Mahaan

See, even today, she did not find anything odd in the gift, because she is brought up in an environment where things are given out and she is used to seeing her parents arguing. She only intervened after Aditya did and asked Imlie to return the chain, thus getting the whole focus back on her.

IMO, if done correctly, she has the potential of becoming one of the most iconic grey character that ITV sadly lacks. The audiences will like her, hate her, pity her, curse her, sympathize with her, get annoyed with her, basically invoking a variety of opposing emotions for her in us. This story is as much about her walking on her two feet without the crutch of Aditya's love as it is of Imlie walking towards a bright future.

There is something about Aditya's look in this scene. So intense! Hayee...😳

Yess Imlie is an extraordinary girl with clean heart and she deserves someone who can love her unconditionally and stand with her to achieve her goals and There is Adi, he is a reporter with values and principles with a loving family. Long ago, Dev choose the stability and happiness of his family (which includes Malini) and left a young girl behind whom he had wronged gravely and didn't even look back once. This is destiny's way of telling Dev, you can't ran away from your past. It always catches up with you. Now, destiny will take what was supposed to be Malini's and give to Imlie who has seen hardship her whole life because of Dev. The peace and the happiness of the Chaturvedi family will start to disappear as the cards played by destiny are gradually revealed, infact it has already started to happen.

Yes this is indeed karmas payback to dev for all the suffering imlie and meethi have been subject to. The unintended consequence of this is that malini going to pay the price.
