Even the first time around, I thought he again did something he does not do so voluntarily with Malini - apologize. She has to create a scene and only then he starts groveling. Imlie does not have to ask and she gets the apology. But it was lackluster. I liked them entering the room together though - with the voiceover and their expressions, it was a pretty sight.

The makers will definitely put a lot of obstacles in the way but if they had to show symbolism, that scene was it. He need not be her lover alone. He is going to be a friend, guide and mentor. And she is going to help his real self unfold and show him how to live as opposed to the existing that he does today. And they will do it in lockstep. So many good options.

AC’s beizzati also did not work on me this time. Like she said all those big significant things but all I could think of was why is her hair not matching when they show her back

Yess Imlie is an extraordinary girl with clean heart and she deserves someone who can love her unconditionally and stand with her to achieve her goals and There is Adi, he is a reporter with values and principles with a loving family. If destiny didnt force Imlie with Adi , he should have lead a normal life like any other person. Imlie's entry in his life made him to face new situations and new problems.

Its more like why destiny chose Adi for imlie?

At first when Aditya sat down in front of Imlie she was not aware of Malini' s presence and began expressing herself as she always did. Have you noticed when Aditya asks her to do anything, she cannot deny him, be it stop crying or solving math problems, or keeping quiet for 5 minutes etc... he exerts his authority over Imlie. Jatoing his haq without realizing it.

He brings Imlie's attention to Malini by saying 'inke aur meti taraf se sorry' and that is when Imli notices Malini and instantly withdraws, it is tiny but could feel her withdrawal into her mask. She did the same when Malini came upon them writing her name, she was the one to spot her first and knew how it could be interpreted. Aditya talks with his eyes here, I watched this a few times, he conveys that Malini is there, so be careful.

Yes it would be nice to see them talk, without anyone hovering over them. Where they are having a normal convo without Malini ordering them about.

Beautiful caps and analysis. Sumbul and Gashmeer are amazing actors and their chemistry is like no one else’s. It would be foolish for CVS not to capitalize on this. Adini romance is inevitable after Malini accident but I hope it’s not too OTT😂😂

@bold: Actually no, he didn't do that😆. Imlie noticed Malini on her own....Adi didn't do anything to make Imlie notice Malini behind him. What Adi actually said was, "Unki galtiyon ke liye nahin, meri apni galtiyon ke liye sorry".....he was simply saying that he isn't talking about the mistakes from Mrs. C, but his own mistakes. Adi was having a candid convo on his own level with Imlie there, without any awareness/guilt of Malini watching them.....there was nothing for him to guilt over there.

It was Imlie who saw Malini on her own and got conscious and retreated from him a bit. If Adi really cared that much about "cautioning" Imlie, he wouldn't have held her shoulders and walked off leaving Malini behind😆. Adi didn't think he had anything to feel conscious about there.

But yes, I agree otherwise that Imlie can't bring herself to deny him if he asks anything of her....she is already very attached to him, more than she realizes.

Adi reacted instantly to make her feel accepted it hit him hard that true he did consider her dust only jaise dust ko durr rakhte hain she was told to stay out of his room and not just baharwalas even he did the exact same thing.. not just once but over and over by calling her kankar on his shoe etc. it instantly hit him on the right spot that damn how is he different and what right he had to console her when he made sure she feels the same way from him too so the immediate first step to make up was to tell her that nope people were wrong she is no dhool mitti Kankar she is welcomed by taking her to his very very personal space with so much of haq to make her feel accepted as a human to put some balm on her wounds about her existence not just in his life but in general as she spoke about not one person loving her except her Amma and chawari all dhitkarooing her... it hit him and that how she feels his family is the only other set of humans who Don't feel disgusted by her aww and hence she was so excited like a little kid. Yes, definitely. It hit Adi hard when she asked if she really is sadak ki dhool....in that moment, it suddenly hit him how he too has contributed in lowering her self-esteem, her respect in this house by restricting where she can go.

That is why he took her to his room with respect....elevating her to that equal status in a long overdue gesture....removing that "stigma" of her supposedly being of inferior status and that is why she can't enter his room....It wasn't his original intention regarding the room entry ban, but that is what it ended up making Imlie feel....which is why he decided to remove the room entry ban in this impulsive gesture.

Haan woh baat aur hai that him doing this unwittingly also officially gave his "first wife" entry into his room....lol gesture ka intention was different but it's symbolic significance became bigger as they walked in together like husband-wife.

I loved Aditya's way of defending Imlie...telling her not to cry and to return the necklace. Malini irritated me a bit today. I generally don't mind her, but she's getting on my nerves a little bit.

Firstly, I honestly don't know what she expected to happen by having her parents both show up. There has never once been a time when her mom has not insulted imlie. Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is called stupidity and Malini stupidity se bhari padi hai lagta hai...

And I didn't understand or agree with Malini's logic to keep the chain. Dadi ka pyaar? I'm sorry...dadi is supposedly giving a gold chain to a girl she barely knows all in the name of "pyaar" and Malini just goes along with it, no questions asked? And moreover, she asks Imlie to keep the necklace in spite of her mother insulting Imlie so badly? If I were Malini, I would take the necklace back from Imlie and also return the necklace that Dev supposedly bought for Malini. Dadi ka pyaar my foot. Pyaar aise expensive gifts khareedke jataya nahi jaata beta. Dev cannot redeem himself no matter how large the gifts are that he buys for Imlie. And dadi and dev have no place giving her the necklace if they cannot stand by their decision to give it to her. Instead of telling Anu to get out and stay out of it, they just let Imlie be insulted in front of the whole family. Aise gift pe toh main thookoongi bhi nahi. Le jao apne stupid si gold chain kisi ko chahiye bhi nahi thi... chee, disgusting people. Dev is an embarrassment to society and so is his mother. And Anu...she spews venom everytime she talks.

Loved the symbolism at the end of the episode...Aditya has moved on/will move on with Imlie and Malini peeche reh jaayegi. Also, on a side note, Imlie's wish came true :P She asked for Aditya as her bday wish and mil gaya usse...at least he is giving her the respect of a fellow human being now...seeing her as a person deserving of consideration and respect. It's certainly a step forward.

@bold: Exactly....I fail to see Malini's "logic" there too....she really has blinders on cuz she is so convinced that only she knows the right way to think/do everything. Which person will want to accept a gift that has been tainted by so much humiliation? Itna bhi basic sense nahin Malini ko and she acts like a mature grown up Professor? 😕

Dev and his Mom are both spineless losers....I feel no sympathy for their token gestures towards Imlie. As for AC....well atleast she is consistent😆.....unlike Dev and his mom who keep crying uselessly but can never actually take a stand for Imlie.

And I have to mention one more thing.....Tripathis claim that Imlie is like family to them....so why do they keep silently listening for so long each time AC calls Imlie a naukraani over and over? Why doesn't a SINGLE person speak up to say that Imlie is NOT a naukraani? Even Tripathis are no less than Dev sometimes in just doing mealy mouthed statements but never really doing much to stick up for Imlie's respect in the face of outsiders demeaning her.

Today I felt like, the story moved ahead quite a bit. In fact, the last few episodes, starting from the bike ride -

- Aditya's reaction to Imlie's touch for the first time;

- Aditya impulsively getting a beautiful red dress for Imlie on Valentine's Day. His reaction when Imlie gave the credit to someone else (no matter what he says );

- the way he kept looking back when Malini pulled him out of the room before he could wish Imlie "Happy birthday";

- BS realizing how brilliant and intelligent his jhalli is and his excitement about it;

- again how he kept looking back when Malini pulled him to another room after the realization of Imlie's brilliance;

- today how moved he was listening to the hardship Imlie had to go through and how her mother was her world. I think it made him realize how genuine this girl really is;

- finally how he takes Imlie to his room and they both took their steps together without either of them even realizing;

- our Imlie also slowly falling for BS and she just can't help it;

They are moving forward, just little by little. Aditya is far from any kind of realization. Whatever he is doing, he is doing subconsciously. The moment he'll realize, it'll be a big blow to him and he'll retreat completely and the push and pull within him will start.

Malini is also slowly entering the uncomfortable zone where she is realizing things are not definitely perfect with Aditya (her idea of perfection) and today, for the first time, doubts have started to creep in about Imlie and Aditya.

Both Aditya and Imlie will go on a major guilt trip after Malini's accident. Imlie because of her birthday wish and Aditya toh most of the time feels guilty anyway.

Yes, the story definitely felt like it's shifting into a new phase from this episode....baaki toh time will tell at what PACE those changes come😆.

I'm not even expecting any realization from Adi but yes, it's high time they evolve his behavior towards Imlie...which it seems might be happening with him deciding to make amends. He will retreat again only if realization hits him like a bolt from the blue or if Malini as usual guilt trips him over supposedly becoming distant from her.

This isn't the first time Malini is having doubts.....that's a constant backdrop....but yeah, Malini might become more insecure in the coming days about Adi-Imlie.....but I also think Sundar will become an unwitting shield for Adi-Imlie to protect them from Malini's doubts😆....Malini will again and again shake off her doubts thinking ki ek toh Imlie is a bacchi and second, that Imlie-Sundar like each other so no chance that there could be anything between Adi-Imlie😆.

I actually feel there are higher chances of Adi-Imlie bonding over Malini's disappearance....emotional consoling hogi....Adi has apologized to Imlie just in time for her to feel comfortable hopping onto his bike in an instant to go find Malini😆....just two days back, Imlie would have hesitated more before trying this with Adi😆.
