As for Shivya - No one is saying she wasn't important. She was. However, her birthday thread can be created in the CFC forum instead as looking at the activity of the forum it has been decided that the forum is just not viable for staying open.

But my question is how are you so certain that there won't be any interviews and things in the near future? I'm certain things are bound to come up before, during and after Shivya's birthday, regardless if it's fan interactions, birthday segments, or interviews with Harshad or/and Shivya. What do we do when this happens? I've heard talks of a few interviews and segments for Shivya that are coming up myself. And not all of them are for her birthday. And they're all related to Humsafars. Where will we go with these interviews and things? To the same Celebrity Forum you're mentioning? Tbh, I really don't think it's fair how we get so many Harshad interviews and segments lined up and posted on the forum, but when Shivya's turn arrives, we won't have a home to discuss this material. I know you guys don't mean to show bias, but it really appears this way to us silent readers and members of this forum.

No offence, I mean this in the most earnest way, but I've never really felt comfortable in this forum because of the way this fandom has been divided. You've seen it, I've seen it, we've all seen it. And it's not about who's Harshad's fan or who's Shivya's fan or who's HarShiv's fan. I've been watching Harshad on television since I was 8 years old and I've practically grown up with him by my side and on my screen. I was just introduced to Shivya and I find her story and journey inspirational. But I've never been able to truly express myself in this forum as I have in the past in many other forums. Inactivity around here may just have to do with who dominates around here and who doesn't. Again, there are a lot of us who are silent readers and have been waiting for this opportunity that is Shivya's birthday to pounce on. You say forum rules are different HERE and I don't understand why. Last time I checked, IF was a place where we could freely discuss and worked hand in hand with Mods. I am asking for the lovely treatment that I have received in the past with IF again today. Please understand our situation and our sentiments. For the sake of the silent supporters of this forum, please don't close it down until August.
If you'd like us to post more, we will! That's no issue for any of us. Had we any idea that the forum would be closing so early perhaps we would have engaged more. It's just that we never felt we had the opportunity before, and now that our opportunity is nearing, we are again getting side checked.

I ask you, on the behalf of all HarShiv & Shivya Pathania fans (and a lot of Harshad Chopda fans as well) to reconsider your decision to close the forum this month and postpone it to August. We would be really appreciative to finally have the chance to express ourselves and appreciate the lady we adore.

We asked for fair treatment. Let's hope we get it. Honestly, Priya. I agree with all you said previously. Again, THIS forum is where Shivya belongs. It's a place where we can all collectively make posts and discuss her upcoming ventures and interviews and segments. That's no fun in a celebrity fan club forum because there wouldn't be any sense of collectiveness there.

Please mods. Please. I hope you're listening to us. There are a lot of us avid on making a birthday thread for Shivya. Hell, I even planned Shivya's birthday thread before my own birthday that was on Saturday. Don't do this to us. Please.

@CT_Shreya,
My view would be to abide by the rules, but if there is any midway solution, the same can also be applied. I hav been visiting this forum on and off and undoubtedly, the forum has been reduced to VM, FF, OS and so on...except the Harshad Chopda b'day thread (that was expected since he is an actor for over a decade!!)

Only a handful of fans (teenagers or in their pre-teens, I guess), are interacting post the serial, so they can very well interact amongst themselves. About sharing news to all, there is google, youtube etc. which are updated regularly, so the chances of missing out any news is not possible.

If there is an option to use the Celebrity thread for celebrating birthdays, then its more practical, since Shivya Pathania is a newbie and its highly probable that her fans are also fans of the serial 'Humsafars'.

Choose your best and viable option.

But the thing is, Humsafars is Shivya's home! This is one place we can actually share things about her and discuss. And because she's a "newbie" as you put it, it would be so great for us to celebrate her birthday here, just as we did with Harshad's. Harshad has been working for a long time in the industry. If anything, it's Shivya who really should have a birthday celebration here.

To be honest, that's not exactly true. I don't know any pre-teen who is interacting post the serial, and I'm quite familiar with the fandom post serial (lmao nice bias and over exaggeration on your part tho) I know a LOT of middle-aged women and men who are still interacting after Humsafars ended. I'm not sure where you're getting your "facts" from because they are far from actuality. I say this in the kindest way possible, but before posting please do some fact checking so you don't confuse the Mods with what's actually there and what you're thinking.

If you really want fair play and to "meet in the middle" as you put it, give Shivya the same treatment as you give Harshad. BOTH of them were leads in the show. SaAz wasn't only Sahir. SaAz included Arzoo. And that means Shivya Pathania was also a huge part of the show. I'm really fed up of this unfair treatment that Shivya gets around here ALL the time, regardless of whether the show was on air, or is now off air.

Yeah, they both need same treatment, shivya's birthday needs to be celebrated in hs forum.
And I don't think there are any teens/pre-teens in here...I'm the only 12 year old here :)

i seriously do not understand wat the problem of some ppl is🤔
http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4358513

i suggest ppl read thru each n every reply in this thread wen the decision was taken by the mods to close the forum
all members very politely requested the mods to keep the form open

there was simply no need to bring in harshad or his b'day thread or his fans in this thread and bash all of them...direct or indirect

if you are shivya's fan...u have the right to request the mods to keep the forum open...
being polite would've worked in ur favour... had u invested ur time in doing that rather than bashing hc's fans

Well, I love both of them equally 😛
I just want shivya's birthday to be celebrated here, because its her first show which makes the hs forum her home(sort of)...although I agree that there is hardly any activity anymore...

Now I'm just confused 😕
