Hey there - just saw the epi online.
So i definitely think that Sahir is trying to compensate for Arzoo finding out that this isn't his family by being a little too jovial. You are right, his face does fall as Arzoo leaves the room and also when they go to sleep. He is putting on a brave face. Its going to take a while for Sahir to open up to Arzoo. He may have said yes to no more hiding the truth but it was a half hearted 'ok'. He knows he can't do it. He didn't offer any explanations or talk about it, same as the day she saw him hurting himself. But i think Arzoo realises Rome wasn't built in a day. I think thats why she said SAC doesn't cry himself, but his tears are falling from her eyes (lovely line btw). She basically laid down her cards and took the much needed first step. But Sahir still needs to make the step himself, and this will take time.
But this is good right? It means that there is some way to go for these guys and there will be some ups and downs for them. You see the way he leaves the room when Arzoo mentions Zeenat to him?Arzoo realises, she will need to figure it out herself, because Sahir sure as hell won't be opening up about Zeenat anytime soon. So although she took a promise, i don't think she expects it to be kept.
Now coming to the kiss, i agree with someone else who said, it should have come after the Shayari. Would have been perfect at that point. But i did like the bit when Arzoo closes the door, returns and asks "Where were we?" and Sahir gets all flustered in trying to reply 😳...i guess at that point, he was just overcome with emotions and didn't stay in control...whilst by the time the shayari bit came a long, his eyes were longing to kiss her, but he was in control and didn't do anything.
Now, sleeping arrangement...if they both have indirectly said they love each other and Arzoo has said she is his humsafar, i didn't quite get why she didn't suggest its ok for them to share a bed now. They are in a very strange situation indeed...may be they feel awkward about it because even though feelings are strong, they didn't really have a courtship period, so only now getting comfortable in touching each other etc...so may be the proximity of sleeping in the same bed is a bit too much at the moment. I mean, today was the first day, Arzoo took Sahirs hands..even he looked shocked! Yes, they have had physical moments together, but they were mostly a result of circumstance (including the birthday dance and the brief friendliness after)...i think we should be seeing more such moments, him hugging her from behind, her putting her arms around him just generally...once that happens, then may be the bed sharing will come!
Final interesting convo was when Arzoo asked him, what do you like? They actually don't know too much about each other! Its always been intense eye locks and saving each others arses...but they haven't really sat and talked about 'stuff'. Its good its happening...they are getting to know each other, become friends...and then i think we will get a courtship period and then finally the same bed and a proper kiss!! 😉
