Thankyou VD 🤗 . I always feel Sahir whatever he may be, is very insecure about Aarzoo, that explains his jealousy and I think he fears losing her , like a dream which may never come true.

This has taken me back to his scene with Asharfi where he rues that Arzoo has now come between his path, the one that would take him from his past into his future. She has become deeply entangled with his past and even though he wants to stop for her he simply can't. Things have been set in motion long back, in fact 7 years back and he simply can't stop the events that are unfolding.

Yes. I do believe he never wanted to indulge Arzoo for this very reason. He knew he had to free himself of the burden of he past before he can claim his love for Arzoo. Unfortunatately for him everything, all his carefully laid out plan just blew up in his face. Ouch

Yes ... he never wanted to indulge Aarzoo but he was not strong enough to let her go either.

There are 2 scenes where I felt that invisible wall blocked them.

One where she is sitting outside the outhouse and crying after a dinner table scene and he comes and almost touches her to console her and there was a phone call from Dr.Khurana.

Second was Friday, again when he was so close, he almost held her but again there was the message. In both these scenes, even though Zeenath is not physically there, she is there , invisible.

Infact I hesitated a lot before posting this here because it's not a straightforward romantic poem, instead it expresses SAC's insecurity. I feel to him Zeenath and Aarzoo are 2 different worlds that he never wanted to intersect . He has no choice however and now one of his worlds is becoming a wall in his other world . Really glad that you understood it 😊

Pearly it may not be a straightforward roses and candlelight and chaand romantic poem but it was deeper. It really showed the way Sahir is being torn apart... not cause he loves two women but cause he is still not free from the clutches of his past.

Please post all your poems... don't even dare to hesitate 😊
