Good post Suvi once again 👏 I am really disappointed with the turn of events - made a separate post about it - was really frustrated. I have no clue why they have done this to the show and I am trying to hope against hope that the tides will turn after marriage towards good - don't know if there is any real possibility of that though...😭

Well it was clearly stated what i think we all are thinking about this right now...
But as i guess you should expect this...as
This is not the first time i have seen this happening...and this not going to be last also...i just had this experience with their last ( now also running show.)show...
They give us a Plot which will pull us towards itself like anything...
Dare us to daydream about it...
Make us fall for them helplessly
But for what to be finally get destroyed , deviated or can say butchered by their so called twists...

marriage turn towards good how Ria?? after so much has happened?? everything brushed under the carpet and suddenly Arzoo turns the hate marriage into a love marriage?? 😕

Yeah... but why? I wish someone would answer that for me. What makes them do that?? Or is it that they don't care? They lose the interest once the journey starts and don't mind what path they take since they know when it will end and where it will end?? Maybe thats it Mayur. They don't respect and care for their own creation.

Honestly, I do not know 😕. After the marriage (I shudder to think of that sequence), Arzoo will only hate Sahir more and he will only love her more - what a tragedy 😭 This would be the most dreadful to watch - I do not know if I can see it too 😭 And then they may probably reveal about Zeenath's betrayal and take things further from there. Sahir should have SOLID reason for his actions and if they can make that very, very convincing - Arzoo may just try to understand him. She may still not forgive him, but can at least start thinking. If they do not rush things then and show them slowly understanding each other and each other's pain, and then some logical and good bonding events, they can still save a little. However, at the illogical rate they are going, it makes me afraid of whether anything would happen for the better now at all.

Well i don't know how this P.H. process goes...as i don't know why they even get these twists...because the Plot before these so called Twists...is always very intriguing...and Captivating...but what strikes them that they shatter all this...by giving us shocking and unreasonable...twists...
And i do feel like a colossal fool...because i always tends to fall for these shows...( only this show and last show of 4Lions P.H )...and then we get these for our loyalties...
But sincerely...the first time i didn't know what to expect...but when this show started i was al ready to expect something like this in future...

I feel, Harshad has been cheated for the second time. I did not watch his previous show. But I read, he pulled out from the show as the other lead was given more importance. Same thing is happening here. He might be getting screen space, but his characterisation is not grey, it is getting dark.

We don't expect too much logic from shows. But here, we have to take everything for granted. There is no justification, how can Arzoo's mom stay in her friend's house with her family, as long as she wants. If she really wanted a shelter, she should have demanded that from the father of her kids. She had all the rights. Feeling apologetic there, but no awkward feeling being in Alvira's house (neither from her or any of her family members including female lead), does not make sense to me.

A sensitive issue like rape was treated so trivially, with two brothers on the same bed with a girl who has undergone a horrible experience.

We can't put the blame for low TRP on channel alone. There have been successful shows run on this channel before. Why Hamsafars has not been to manage this? I agree, the male leads in the other shows from PH were also not perfect. But they never manipulated with there own love interests. In IPK, they had a villain who was doing that job. Here, they are using Sahir to do it.

Fangirling Sahir is another road block. It encourages CVs to distort Sahir's character further (as if the damage done so far is not enough).

Please stop this 'deal' track, which is showing Sahir too negative. It is neither artistic, nor generating TRPs.

Hi Suvika, I think its safe to assume that everyone in the TV industry cares about TRP. Whether they admit it or not. High TRP's mean, the show can run for long and you get more leeway from Production houses (more budget etc).

I think the biggest problem is that the makers do not know where to take the story. They should have never opened so many loopholes in the story. The story has now been marred with so many character inconsistencies that it cannot be the same anymore.

I would have never watched this show had they said that Sahir was married and has a comatose wife who can get up anytime. They sold the story initially of two people being humsafars. Let me explain myself. It's true, love is complicated and inconvenient. Married people do fall in love with others, it happens all the time but not like this!

If the producers of HS had initially described their story as a deep, dark love story between a married hero and another woman!! That would have been it for many viewers. But they held their cards close to their chest for obvious reasons. Zeenat was conveniently kept in a coma, out of sight out of mind...sort of!

I guess this was the intention all along, get SaAz married off, and then reintroduce wife no 1 as soon as wife no 2 gets into her comfort zone. Now they have introduced Zaki as well in the mix. The story has become so convoluted that they themselves don't know where to take it.

This is my third show with the PH and I should have learned my lesson with the previous two. I stopped watching the second show which is still running on Zee, a long time back since I lost interest. I am hoping it doesn't happen with HS but I don't foresee that happening because the story is all over the place.

Thank you all for your comments. OK. Unanimous conclusion from everyone is that TRP is what matters to these people and nothing else.

What in the world made them think that distorting the main leads would gain them TRPs?? 😕

Agreed that sugary sweet episodes won't work but two brothers, one girl, one comatose wife, one pregnant girl friend, deal, girl's father's second wife, girl walking on coals of fire.. I am laughing even while I list out the absurdities that we have seen in the last couple of weeks.

Opening more loopholes and tracks without closing the previous ones would gain them TRPs??

How is this TRP calculated?? (Sorry if that came across as a layman's question but I really don't know how it is calculated.)

How is this TRP calculated?? (Sorry if that came across as a layman's question but I really don't know how it is calculated.)

I am not too sure myself since I am not in India but TRP's are calculated based on first 10 mins of people tuning into the show in India. There are some boxes installed in the country in areas where it calculates how many people tuned in to watch the show at 8:30pm. Anyone watching the show online or overseas will not contribute to TRP measure.
