I agree...they may want to keep zeenat as the trump card for later...but they should show the audience hints of what happened atleast...it's clear that he doesn't love her...the promise was the first thing he thought of when he was told of her first sign of movement after 7 years!

Even the body language when he was with her and looked into her eyes suggested that he was talking about proving a point to her...all the times he has recalled her saying h cannot do business have him really agitated and upset...

They should give some feelers as to what issue was there at least...enough to fuel speculation and keep interest in the mystery alive😛

Yes dragging it for too long can be counter productive ... also some flashes of his past even if they are not clear would make his side of story more intriguing ... u know viewers will keep wanting to know more hence the interest will remain
