It's not that they don't have chemistry, it's more of the fact that both characters right now are not emotionally capable of having a relationship. The baggage they are carrying around has muted their ability to fully show their feelings to anyone.
Arzoo, the girl who has seen her parents marriage fail, she saw the devastation in the wake of her father leaving her mother for another woman. Would that girl be open to a relationship with any man, would she be able to trust that he wouldn't leave her for someone else. Arzoo acts brave infront of everyone, and to some extent her uncontrollable anger is her defense mechanism when she feels hurt. She doesn't automatically go into hurt mode but straight to anger, and then she'll let herself cry.
Sahir also very controlled but he is also hiding the pain of something very deep within, It seems to be tied to someone really close to him as he seems as though he is punishing himself and has been as though he is to be blamed for something. The burnt toast, the rejecting of mangos, his OCD about handles and dirty things. His anger seems to be composed at times, but when he lashed out the other day it seems even he will loose it sometimes. Him reprimanding an employee or wanting a deal to go through come hell or high water is to be expected otherwise how are you going to be the head of the company. He's never going to pull punches when his business and reputation is on the line. People have to know they can't take advantage of you, especially in the business world.
Now for them to even begin to come closer to each other is going to take a lot of patience and a lot of trust, which they haven't yet made for each other. There will be several misunderstandings because they will automatically assume the worst in the other person first. Not to say they won't be attracted to one another, but because they've never been able to rely on another person to actually live up to a promise, it's going to be hard.
