The ME was mostly a bore except for when Sahir and Arzoo were on screen. I skipped the rest.
Arzoo wishing eid to her family was sweet and I love how she made her mother stop crying. I think the OTT was because its holiday time and she is not home with them for the first time. My mom was that way the first time my brother went away from home.
Sahir's teeth grinding was interesting. Here he is sitting in front of a mother for whom he will change his own rules but when she asks him to take his bro's responsibility he is pissed enough to grind his teeth. He didn't protest but his teeth grinding was enough indication that he did not like being emotionally backmailed in that manner. It could be that he is angry at the mention of Zaki because he disapproves of his ways but somehow I don't believe that there is so much anger between them.
The way Zaki walked up to him on stage and then he reached out when Zaki stumbled does say something about their equation. Still got to see more of them together to understand what the real deal is.
I think that Sahir is a good business man and he does appreciate all that Anam has to offer as a VP and would probably decide in her favor even without her trying underhandedness. She does work hard to impress and she does deserve the position. Anam and Sasuma are meant to be the players and everyone else is a pawn till one of the pawns decides to break the rules of the game. It will be fun to watch.
I am sure Alvira will come back with something else to counter Anam's action. Or Sahir himself will decide that the best way to teach his bro some responsibility is to have his start at the bottom in his own company...which opens the way to Zaki and Arzoo meeting and possibly becoming friends or falling in love...whatever.
Arzoo not saying anything while Sahir and Anam were present was a bit of creative liberty. But looked pretty stupid on screen.
The climax was the highlight of the otherwise rather boring epi and I loved every bit of it.
Dejavu was definitely there but I was half expecting that Arzoo would be in such bad condition that they would open the curtains and door and she would fall right into his arms...much more like it happened in IPKKND. But at least they did think of something else other than hero carrying behosh heroine. I don't think poor Harshu could handle too much of weight lifting in his condition.
