Oops. I got the wrong idea from the update. This is what happens when I avoid SBS. 😆 Probably, the mother was busy earning and providing for the family, hence he was brought up by the nanny. A sharp contrast to Arzoo, where the Dadi was around. I would still go with the step-mom thing. The relationship is way too formal.

Yeah signs certainly point to that...however even the older son said that Zaki is always around to hug her when he left for Dubai...and he also said maybe she would actually pay some attention to him if he stayed away for sometime...hinting she may not have given him that much time!

...seemed to suggest that she isn't planning anything like matchmaking...or is she happy that her plan is taking shape...! Could be either way!
