I know people might disagree, but I really liked Kitu Gidwani and Rani Damiyanti yesterday.

First off, the scene where she is calmly finishing her tea and Shiv walks in. And she tells him, what did you think? I'll sit around waiting for you?

Her acerbic taunts to Surili. Now ofcourse they were mean and awful. But think of it as retaliation for the pain caused to her. And Shiv not just going against her, but also bringing someone who stands for everything she fears and looks down upon. Her disdain on the matter is crystal clear.

Then, the way she was talking to Samar. It was a wonderful scene between two shrewd people - both of whom are weighing the other person while talking to them, trying to see how much they will play them and how much they can gain from each other. It was also in a way that he was trying to sell a sob story and she was not even buying a bit of it.

Beyond this, the bonding of Surili with Samar and Manvendra was very nice.

Maan saying, we've waited very long to call some one bhabhi was also very sweet. There's an innocence in these 2 brothers which makes them very likeable.

On the other side, even Raghavendra, in his limited screen space today - did well with the mix of sarcasm and fake praise for Surili was okay.

I'm excited for the drama that Swati's mom would create tomorrow. It's not like she wanted the marriage. But ofcourse, you can't see your kid suffer or be sad.

Unpopular opinion but Surili is right to fight with Shiv. He should have told her that Rani fixed his marriage without even telling him. And there was no roka really. He hasn’t even met Swati more than once. But he should have told her!

Finally got around to seeing Thursday and Friday's episodes.

I loved the conversation between Rani Maa and Shiv. She didn't resort to the usual emotional blackmail that I won't eat etc.

I love how she had her meal, and she was so calm. She didn't threaten Shiv or do any drama. She just stated her opinion that she knows this marriage won't last. The scene was concise.

Sweet how Shiv tried to cheer Surili up with a hug and cuddle.. how coupley! ❤️

LOVE LOVE LOVE the way the brothers are so welcoming and lovely. So so refreshing from usual ITV drama where nobody is happy when the leads get married. That's how it should be! All the brothers are gentlemen😳

The dance bits was lovely.. again refreshing because it wasn't the usual choreographed kinda dance but more of just people naturally vibing and enjoying.

Its nice the way all of them find their way to enjoy within the limits of the palace, like dancing and enjoying with airpods on.. who cares if you don't have loud music. The idea is the same. Surili encouraging them to play it on speaker is telling of her nature.. she believes in going all out and is clearly not someone who likes to be dictated or restrained by rules and limits.

I am glad we got to see these moments before Swati's mum stormed into the palace.

Surili's anger was justified. Shiv said his mother gave the promise not him. Wasn't this the same guy in the jungle who said his mum's actions and words aren't any different from him?! Then why backtrack that now and pin it all on the mum. He knew what the mum was up to. Neither did he speak to Lekha about it and refuse, neither did he tell Surili about it. I completely agree with Surili here. Saying that you didn't do it on purpose is convenient AF.

And Shiv saying that is our trust that weak.. BRO YOU GUYS BARELY KNOW EACH OTHER! The fact that he walked away and didn't even try and told her to think whatever she wanted. WOW. And this is the same guy who told her to come into the ocean with him so that the waves won't hurt her..

Poor Surili.. got her first heartbreak after marriage that too on the first day. Girl this is just the start.

Love the way the fight was written and directed. Very to the point, natural and logical, as with their scenes so far.

Also they need to tone down on the colour grading / filter / lighting they're using for this show. It's horrible.

Tina's styling also sucks. It doesn't do justice to her figure / frame at all.

shiv ka mom's sadakchap langage in precap lol she really think she did something savage by saying those words. shiv needs to shut it down from day 1. this handing over business and all is to keep the two separate as she torments surili

now swatilekha ka dil totes and her taunting will start. shiv ka bro was so cute saying main baat kru bhabhi se apki permission ho to.

Yaaas!! I swear the Rani scenes were awesome! I mean awfully harsh language and all of that definitely. Rani was completely below the belt in her taunts and comments to Surili. But damn, Kittu Gidwani is acing it. Like I watch the show with my mom, and she actually had a moment of recollection going "Rani is not doing right with Surili".. and that's huge coming from some one who couldn't watch 5 mins of the show!

Styling is a sore thumb. We've pointed it out on Instagram and Twitter too. But the point is that they want her to have that kind of style, its a focused attempt at either making her relatable or create a differentiation.

Exactly. Surili was completely justified. And if you think about it, Shiv did do wrong to Swatilekha, to the extent of not talking or being upfront with her. Now if you think about it, this sudden marriage seems like an ego tussle between Rani and Shiv. Where both are trying to prove that they have the control or the upper hand.

I'm also a bit confused as to why the core insecurity of Rani is being hidden. Her problem with the city girl, as a result of her husband's EMA is probably at the center of her issues. Considering Shiv knows the truth about his father, why isn't he either confronting his mom or giving this background to Surili?

" Aap ko chahiye toh isse waitress rakh lijiye"..

Yes, her comments are very crass! Shows just how low she thinks of Surili & Co.
