What I think will happen is that in the new case they will continue to work on the old case. It's the only way that they can solve all these mysteries.

i was like yup ab ye secret khula now this but all in vain
just the silly mode or murder and motive too and after that the ma tujhay salam sequence
no shocking and big revealations for which we are hoping
