With an emphasis on sweets , vegetables and lentils served with rice as a staple diet, Bengali cuisine is known for its subtle (yet sometimes fiery) flavours, and its huge spread of confectioneries and desserts. It also has the only traditionally developed multi-course tradition from the Indian subcontinent that is analogous in structure to the modern a service a' la russe style of French cuisine, with food served course-wise rather than all at once!

From the culinary point of view, some major historical trends influenced Bengali food!!

So our Banarasi Babu is going to taste the Bengali dishes ,and am sure he relish the cuisine and the culture most ! Futuristic approach towards love ...

I have a different take on this poster! I think the noodles represent the new guy come from abroad and the Indian food (does not look like Bengali cuisine) represents our desi Bunty, so the poster shows a clash between both, who will triumph?
