Lily most middle class indians cant afford 2-3 TV...they usually have 1...now it depends on the family how they schedule their tv viewing...it depends...some places the younger gen can watch whatever they wish...there r some where the oldies r too dominating n dont allow kids to watch their favs...we cant generalise

Well about 65-70% of homes in India do watch prime time TV together. Reason being : a single TV, dinner time, family hour etc. And mostly channels are watched according to the wish of elders like grandparents (whichever serial they want to watch), after that father's (normally NEWS, business News or sports channel, then comes kids (cartoon channel) and then the ladies of the house, teenagers do not get any preference (they are told to go and study or nobody wants to watch whatever they want to watch so teens normally watch shows on another TV - if available or catch up with their favorite shows online.. Now coming to TRP. Sony has been getting low TVT and TRP from a long time (though it has been showing good shows ) and Sony's TRP has dropped a lot after it has openly spoken out against the current TRP system indirectly naming the companies who are in the teams which calculate TRP and are also partners in Top ranking Channels.

That is why Sony has come up with its own website sonyliv where it uploads its serials after 2-3 hrs of their telecast time, and also on their youtube channel . Just have a look at the no. of views on Sony's serials on youtube and compare it with other high TRP gaining serials. you would understand yourself. And these views certainly increase during weekends which shows that Sony has a viewership comprising of younger generation,working people, men and housewives whereas Top ranking channels according to TRP have viewership comprising mostly of housewives...

Sony has never cared abt trps...remember its yashraj shows like mahi ve and rishta.com

It had very low trp but it was hugely popular among the young gen n educated people.

Advertisers dont endorse shows on just trps...they hav their own ranking system ...

For me the only thing that is strange is, that a people who are so busy in their lives, who watch epic show, that is topping the list of the hits of TV shows 🤪, on the best Chanel in all of the universe 😛, with a lead pair who is on the front pages of all news 🤔 and in all the segments of every TV stations in India 🤪, with zillions of ecstatic viewers 🤡, has nothing better to do in their precious time, but to follow the "Chanel that is bellow their reputation" and the show ( and its forum), that they would not watch even if that is the only show on this earth that is airing.

And what to say for people who, instead to follow their grandiosely huge diva, follow a girl that they do not care about at all. 😲😆 How do you call that people? Such an enigma. But than I guess our actions speaks more about ourselves than anybody else. 😃

When we posted on "their" forum in "their" TRP thread, that was because we were members of that forum, we watched that show for more than 4 years, which gave us all rights to express our opinions any way we liked. Guess we all remember how we were treated that time and what names were given to our girl.

So, to conclude this long chappar (sorry Gina, I know you do not like long speeches, but than you know me for so long, and you know that I am not a girl of few words only 😆)
I just want to say that I really do not care about TRP of the show I am watching now, I love the show, more than I ever loved that other one (putting SY on the side...not talking about them), and will watch HHN till it last. So I do not really care for whatever anyone have to say about it, I have my own opinion, as always.😆

I left all the good and bad memories of previous show that I loved to watch, centuries ago, behind me, and long ago I stopped to go to that forum, but now, that I was reminded on everything we went through, I would just like to say that this will change, so I just wanted to say:
