At night,when all were sleeping,Maahi silently slipped onto Indira and Sameer's bedroom.With tip-toed motion she walked towards their bed.She,at first checked whether everyone is asleep or not and when she was confirmed that all were sleeping,she carefully and lightly touched Indira's baby bump.The moment,she touched the baby from inside again kicked.Maahi felt a kind of thrill on her nerves.Indira was awakened on that sudden movement inside her body.The moment she opened her eyes,she found Maahi standing in front of her by touching her stomach.The moment,she again touched,the baby kicked again and Maahi giggled on that.Indira was very happy on seeing that but still she pretended to remain asleep so that Maahi could continue her work.She was very happy thinking that Maahi might have started loving the baby.Maahi carefully sat on the ground and put her cheek on Indira's bump.Indira lightly knocked Sameer up and when he was awake,she asked him to remain silent and pointed towards Maahi.Sameer was amused to see Maahi's activities.Both Sameer and Indira smiled at each other.After sometime,Maahi woke up from the ground and left for her room.After she left,Sameer said,"Lagta hai ke Maahi abhi dheere dheere is sach ko accept karne lagi hai."Indira replied,"Ye to nehi pata hai ke usne is sach ko accept kiya hai ya nehi par ha itna zarur keh sakti hu ke shaayad usne apne taraf se is sach ko accept karne ki koshish shuru kar di hai.Hume uski aur zyaada madat karni hogi."Sameer nodded his head and they again fall asleep.

[ 2 MONTHS LATER ]

One night,Indira could not sleep properly and was feeling very thirsty.She woke Sameer up and said,"Mujhe ice-cream khaane ka bohot dil kar raha hai Sameer,please le aao na."He asked,"Abhi???Is waqt kaha se ice-cream milega?"She angrily said,"Is waqt ice-cream kaha se milega ka kya matlab hai?Mujhe craving ho rahi hai to ho rahi hai,ab isme main kya kar sakti hu?Maahi ke time par to kuch kiya nehi tha to ab jaao aur jaakar mere liye ice-cream laao.Baap banne waale ho na to us laayak kaam bhi karo,jaao!!"Sameer gave a helpless look and left his room.He,at first decided to search in the kitchen and to his surprise,he found Maahi was having ice-cream at the middle of the night.He asked,"Maahi beta itni raat gaye yaha kya kar rahi ho?"She replied,"Bhukh lagi thi,fridge mein aur kuch nehi mila to yehi kha rahi thi."Sameer smiled and replied,"Mujhe bol diya hota na beta,main kamsekam soup to bana sakta tha."She replied,"Vo to mujhe bhi banaani aati hai,par banaane ka mann nehi hai."Sameer looked at the bowl of ice-cream and said,"Vo,mummy ko na ice-cream khaane ka mann kar raha hai.Kya unke liye thori si mil sakti hai?"Maahi nodded her head and gave the bowl to Sameer.He took her alongwith him to their bedroom.

While Indira was having the ice-cream,she was sharing it with Maahi also,one spoon for her and one spoon for Maahi.Maahi asked,"Mummy usdin jo...maine saare khilone kharaan kar diye,aapko gussa aaya tha?"On hearing that question,Indira looked at Sameer and then he replied,"Vo...uh...gussa nehi aaya tha bas...hum thore confused ho gaye the ke achaanak aisa kya ho gaya ke tumne aisa kiya..."She replied,"Mujhe bohot gussa aata hai jab aap log aise hamesha baby ko lekar baate karte ho.Baby aane ke baad aap log sirf usiko pyar karenge aur mujhe bilkul bhi pyar nehi karenge hai na?"Indira patted her cheek and asked,"Tujhe aisa kyu lagta hai beta?"Maahi replied,"Pata nehi par mujhe hamesha aisa hi lagta hai aur Isha bhi kehti hai ke aisa hi hota hai,naya baby aane ke baad uske mummy papa bhi baby ko hi zyaada pyar karte hai."Sameer pulled her and made her sit on his lap and said,"Hum samajh sakte hai ke tum dar gayi thi ke kahi hum tumhe ignore na kare,par beta tumme aur is naye baby mein bohot fark hai.Tum jab is duniya mein aayi thi,tab main aur tumhaari mummy saath nehi rehte the,par aaj hum saath hai,sirf tumhaari vajah se kyuki agar tum usdin bhaag kar mere saath Delhi nehi aati to mujhe kabhi ye pata bhi nehi chalta ke tum meri beti ho aur na tab mummy yaha tumhe lene ke liye aati aur na hum dono purey 9 saal baad milte.You are the reason for our togetherness.Tum hamaari special child ho.Tumne pehli baar aakar hume mummy papa banaya hai.Tumhaari jagah purey world mein koi nehi le sakta hai Maahi."Indira said,"Aur beta tu to meri jaan hai na.Aise kaise soch sakti hai tu ke hum tujhse kam pyar karenge?Aisa kabhi ho hi nehi sakta hai.Ye jo naya baby aane waala hai na vo to bohot chota hai to iska dhyaan to rakhna hi parega,isko bhi to mummy papa ka pyar chahiye aur hoga to ye tumhaara bhai ya behen hi.Tum isko pyar nehi karogi?"Maahi made a confused face and asked,"Par agar kahi isne meri copy phaar di aur mere khilone le liye to?"Indira replied,"To main usko bohot daatungi."Maahi nodded her head with a smile.Sameer said,"You know Maahi jab tum mummy ke andar thi tab main nehi tha na tumhaare saath isliye,main is aanewaale baby mein tumhaara bachpan dekhna chahta hu,kyuki jis tarah se tumhaare touch karne se hi baby kick karta hai usse to aisa hi lagta hai ke baby bilkul apni didi ki tarah hai."Suddenly,Indira felt very restless and grabbed her tummy and said,"Sameer...Sameer...mere pet mein bohot dard ho raha hai.Uh!!!..."Indira screamed in pain and Sameer was hell confused and could not figure out what to do.Maahi,out of scare ran out of the room and called Simi and Rajshekhar.Simi came running to their bedroom and held Indira and asked,"Kya hua beta pet mein bohot dard ho raha hai kya?"Indira replied,"Ha ma bohot dard ho raha hai aur ye dardbardaasht nehi ho raha hai mujhse."Simi said to Sameer,"Lagta hai labour pain start ho gaya hai.Tu abhi jaakar gaari nikaal main isey lekar aata hu."Maahi asked,"Daadi kya hua meri mummy ko?"Simi smiled and replied,"Kuch nehi beta tere bhai ya behen ke aane ka time ho gaya hai na to isliye pet mein dard ho raha hai."Sameer brought the car out of the garage and then Simi and Rajshekhar with lots of difficulty brought Indira out of her room and helped her to get inside the car.

Indira was taken to the hospital hurriedly and after reaching there,her family was informed.In the middle of the night,all the elders in the SF reached the hospital.Indira was taken into the OT.Maahi was crying hugging her father and she asked,"Papa meri mummy ko kuch bhi to nehi hoga na?"He replied,"Kuch nehi hoga beta,dekhna thori der baad mummy tumhaare liye chota bhai ya behen lekar aayegi."Maahi broke the hug and replied,"Mujhe chota bhai ya behen nehi chahiye,vo kitna pareshaan kar raha hai meri mummy ko.Mujhe sirf meri mummy chahiye."He consoled her and said,"Ha beta mummy aa jaayegi."After almost one and half hour,the doctor came out of the OT and informed about Indira delivering a healthy baby boy.All were happy and congratulated each other.Sameer said to Maahi,"Mummy tumhaare liye chota sa bhai laayi hai.Chalo baby ko dekhna hai na."Maahi angrily replied,"Nehi!!Mujhe sirf mummy ko dekhna hai."Sameer nodded his head.When Indira was shifted into the cabin,all went to meet her.On getting there,Maahi found that the baby was kept inside the arms of Indira.On seeing that,she was so angry that she said to the nurse,"Sister baby ko hataao yaha se.Yaha sirf meri mummy soyegi,ye nehi.Hataao isko!!"Indira,who was half lying down on the bed said,"Aisa nehi kehte hai beta,kitna chota baby hai aur ye tumhaara chota bhai hai na."She angrily glared at the baby and made a face.Sameer picked up the baby and started pampering him.He said to Simi,"Mom mujhpar gaya hai na bilkul hi."She replied,"Nehi betiya baap par jaati hai aur bete ma par jaate hai.Ye bilkul Indira jaisa hai."Maahi protested,"Nehi ye kisike jaisa nehi hai,sirf main apne mummy aur papa jaisi hu."Indira teased Maahi,"Nehi chota baby to bilkul apni didi par gaya hai."Maahi angrily replied,"Nehi ye ganda hai main achchi hu!!"All the SF too pampered the baby and suddenly it started crying.Simi took the baby and said,"Oooleee!!Bhukh lagi hai baby ko.Ooo baba!!!Le Indira lagta hai bhukha hai baby."Indira took the baby and then Simi asked Maahi to leave with them,but she replied,"Nehi agar main nehi rahungi to ye phir se meri mummy ko pareshaan karega."Kutumb replied,"Nehi beta,ye teri ma ko pareshaan nehi karega.Chal!!Ghar chalkar hume iske swaagat ki tayyari bhi to karni hai na.Chal chal!!"Saying they all took Maahi from there.

2 days later,Indira was discharged from the hospital and she returned home with her new born son.Simi took the evil eyes from both the son and the mother and took them inside.Indira went to her room and found out that it was nicely decorated with all the baby belongings alongwith a small cought.Indira put her son in the cought and asked,"Ye saara itna intezaam kisne kiya?"He made a face and replied,"Tumhe mere talent par bharosa nehi hai kya?"She replied,"Bharosa to hai par vo kya hai na ke The Great Sameer Diwan ko business chorkar ye sab bhi aata hai,ye baat...you know..."He replied,with an attitude,"Iam a very talented man Mrs Diwan,vo alag baat hai ke tumhe mere talent ki kadar hi nehi hui hai abhitak."Everyone,in the house gifted something to the baby except Maahi.Rajshekhar said,"Arey sabne kitna kuch diya hai baby ko par didi ne to kuch nehi diya.Aisa kyu?"Maahi replied,"Main kuch nehi dungi isko."Indira and Sameer looked at each other helplessly.At night,when Indira was making the baby to sleep,Maahi came like a storm and said,"Isko jhule mein sulaao,aap dono ke beech mein sirf main soungi aur koi nehi."Indira said,"Par beta bhai bohot chota hai na agar raat ko isko bhukh lagi ya phir ye roya akele mein to usey chup karaana parega na."Maahi replied,"Nehi!!"Sameer said,"Maahi beta,bhai ko bhi to mummy papa ki zarurat hai na tumhaari tarah.Tumhe taklif hui thi na jab main tum dono ke saath nehi tha,to bhai ko bhi to hogi na."Maahi gave a thought to that and replied,"Thik hai vo tabtak hi soyega jabtak vo thora sa bara nehi ho jaata."Indira nodded her head and four of them slept on the same bed.Before sleeping,Maahi gave an angry gaze to his sleeping brother and then closed her eyes.A few days later,during the naming ceremony of the baby,the priest said that the baby's name should either start with M or with S.Indira asked,"So Maahi tum bolo tumhaare bhai ka kya naam hona chahiye?"Maahi replied,"Monster!!"Sameer and Indira became very embarrassed and then Indira said,"Mere bete ka naam Samarth hoga.Samarth Diwan!!"Sameer smiled and then patted his son's cheek and asked,"Pasand aaya tumhe naam??"The baby smiled and Maahi narrowed her eyes angrily.

[ 6 MONTHS LATER ]

The baby,within few months started crawling and uttered a few words of his own.From that age only,he developed a kind of attraction towards Maahi,who although started loving him on seeing him everyday and getting used to his presence,but still acted to be strict towards her.One day,Indira was feeding Samarth and Maahi had just returned from school.He looked at Maahi as if he could easily understand Maahi's indifferent behaviour with him.When the car used to push the horn before parking in front of the door,Samarth used to jump in excitement as if he had understood that his sister had arrived.He used to utter constantly,"Didddiii didddiii!!!Ma ma!!"though not in a very clear tone.On seeing Maahi,he becomes very happy and everytimes craves for her love but Maahi used to give a disturbed look to him.That day,after feeding Samarth half of his food,Indira called Maahi and said,"Maahi beta thori der iska dhyaan rakkho na,main kitchen se jhat se aati hu.Yaha par betho please."Maahi,unwantedly sat there and Indira left.Samarth,on seeing her became very happy and said,"Didddi didddi!!!"Maahi thought that he was hungry and wanted to have his food. So,she picked up the spoonful of his food and fed him.Samarth crawled over her and pampered her a lot and continuously uttered her name.Maahi didn't feel disturbed when he did that,but a smile unknowingly ppeared in her lips.She made him sit on her lap and continued feeding him.When Indira entered,she was very happy on seeing both their kids so happily with each other and thought that she might now had accepted him.On seeing Indira,Maahi put him back on the bed and said,"Ye na pata nehi kya keh raha tha aur mujhe laga ke isko bhukh lagi hai to main isko khila rahi thi."The moment,Maahi made him sit on the bed,he started shouting and said,"Ma ma!!Mmm!!"Indira said,"Sammy keh raha hai ke usko apni didi ke goadi mein beth kar khaana hai."She put him on Maahi's lap again and then fed him.

At night when Sameer returned from office,he played with Samarth and then went to have his dinner.After the dinner,while he was returning,Indira stopped him and said,"Ek minute yaha ruko main tumhe ek bohot achchi cheez dikhaati hu."Indira pinched the baby and he started crying and she stopped Sameer to go for is aid and then on hearing his cry,Maahi entered inside their room and found him crying.On seeing Maahi,Samarth raised his arms and signalled her to take him in her arms.Indira and Sameer were watching secretly from outside.Maahi picked him up and made him lie down on her bed and said,"Tu ro kyu raha hai??Aa gayi hu na main.Tujhe pata hai mujhe tu bilkul pasand nehi hai par ab mujhe tu bohot achcha lagta hai.Pehle mujhe lagta tha ke tu mere mummy papa ko mujhse cheen lega aur mere saare khilone bhi par tu bohot chota hai na to tujhe bhi to mummy chahiye na.Tujhe na main apne saare khilone dungi par tu meri copy mat phaarna.Tu bohot achcha hai.Aaj se main bhi tujhse bohot pyar karungi.I love you Sammy!!Tu bhi mere mummy papa ko mummy papa bulaana.Aaj se main tere saath roz khelungi."Indira and Sameer were very happy on seeing that.After that Maahi sang a lullaby for Samarth,the same one which Indira used to sing for her.Slowly Samarth fall asleep and she put him on the bed and slept by his side hugging him.Indira and Sameer entered inside their room and on seeing them Maahi said,"Main aaj apne chotu bhai ke saath soungi."Indira said,"Thik hai,tum aaj se roz apne bhai ke saath sona."Sameer attempted to kiss Samarth but Maahi scolded him and said,"So raha hai na,uth jaayega Sammy!!"He apologized and lightly kissed on his forehead followed by Maahi.After that Sameer and Indira gave a sigh of relief on seeing everything sorted out between their kids.So they,too slept by their side.

BANDHAN doesnot mean any particular kind of relationship,but a strong bond that lies in every relationship.Indira and Sameer being in love always but separated by time and again met after long years for their kid.Parents are always bound by their kids and its their love which can even mend every broken relationship.Sameer and Indira's relationship revived again with love wrapped inside hatred but gradually realized that with time.Indira and Sameer overcame all the hurdles in life to be together and with a complete family,they lived ever after.

[ 1.5 YEARS LATER ]

1.5 years passed by and Samarth was now of 2 years.On his second birthday,Rajshekhar transferred 50% of his entire property in his name and the rest 50% in Maahi's name with Sameer being the holder of the Power o Attorney until both the kids are matured enough to handle the business.One night,Indira became very angry on Sameer and punished him by making him feed Samarth.While trying to do so,he was only making Samarth annoyed at his father and not getting fed by his hand.Sameer,getting fed up,said,"Hadh hoti hai yaar!!Ek to ma itni ziddi aur to aur beta bhi itna ziddi.Main nehi khila sakta usko."Samarth angrily said,"Papa ganne!!Didddi didddi!!"He started calling his sister.Maahi came running to him and screamed with joy,"Chotuuu!!!"On hearing her excited voice,Samarth too was excited.He clapped his hand and pointed towards his food and said,"Didddii!!"Maahi said,"Mre haath se khaayega chotu???Ok!!"She then started feeding him and he too had his dinner.Sameer made a face on seing that and said,"Thik hai,khaana nehi khila paaya to kya,main usey sula dunga."Maahi said,"Vo aapki goadi mein kabhi nehi soyega.Mere aur mummy ke alava vo aur kisike paas nehi sota hai."Sameer said,"Main bhi dikha dunga that I can also be a very good baby sitter."He gave a taunting look to Indira who made a mocking face.He tried a lot but Samarth didn't sleep on his shoulders.So Maahi took him with her into her bedroom.After having dinner,when Indira returned to take Samarth back to their room,she was very touched to see the most adorable scene on the world.She called Sameer to see that.When he arrived,he found that Samarth was sleeping happily on sleeping Maahi's chest.She,on seeing them said,"Haaye mere bachcho ko kabhi kisi ki nazar na lage."Sameer corrected,"Hamaare bachche!!"She nodded her head and they continued staring at them with a smile.
