Rati Pandey aka Hitler Didi of Indian television is on a hiatus after the show went off air. The pretty lass is enjoying her time with her family in Patna and catching up with friends. We called her up to know about what's in store for her in the coming year.
Let's hear it from Rati...
Rati is no hurry to take up new TV projects soon and wants to spend her time with family, "It's just been two months that my show went off air and everyone knows that I'm not that kind of a person who does 3 shows a year. Whatever I'll do it's going to be the best. My previous two shows have been trend setters and I'm looking for such type of projects. For now I'm on vacation and enjoying spending time with my family," chirps Rati.
She further adds, "In the Television world we actresses have a very short span. The more you are visible; the more people will get bored of you. The craziness gets over and I don't want it to happen. Currently, I'm in Patna and will be coming back to Mumbai by the second week of December."
So what is in the pipeline for the actress? "Well to be frank there are no shows but yes a TV calendar shoot is scheduled for December in Malaysia. I'm eagerly waiting for that and as for the rest it all depends on destiny. Though this year I don't think I'll be seen in any show, whatever happens it will be next year only," says Rati.
On the personal front Rati has been linked to Anas Rashid of Diya aur Baati Hum fame. Though both have always denied the relationship and have maintained that they are friends only, we again asked Rati about the same. Not ready to divulge any details she maintained a 'No Comments' stance. So is she not ready for marriage at all, any plans of saat-pheras? She laughs, "Well, I thought you will ask if I already got married. Two weeks back a journalist called me telling me that today evening you got married and I was laughing. I don't know how these rumors are spread and by whom. Talking about my marriage, well my parents do want me to settle down but again I have left it on destiny."
Is she planning for an arranged marriage then? "I really don't know as whatever I say, hamesha uska ulta hota hai (it's always the other way) so I've stopped saying anything. All I can tell you is that whenever I get married, everybody will come to know. Presently, I'm very much single and you can send the invitation that I'm ready to mingle," giggles the actress.
Well, we hope she finds her Mr. Right soon!
RatI Pandey who is popularly known as Hitler Didi to her fans, has been highly appreciated for her double roles of Indira Sharma, (a strict disciplinarian, an independent woman with no nonsense attitude) and encounter specialist Zara Malik Khan (the dabaang female cop) in Zee TV's celebrated show Hitler Didi (Ila Bedi Dutta's - Trilogy Krikos). In appreciation she has bagged several awards.
After the show ended in the month of August this year, she has not made her presence felt on the television. So what is the fine-looking lady up to these days?
"You see, for some time I have been travelling. And I recently spent time with my family during the occasion of Chhaat Pooja. I have done a couple of shows with good production houses which stood well in the eyes of the audience. Now I am looking forward to doing shows which stand up to that mark. I am open to doing reality projects as well," she informs.
So is it that Rati could possibly be seen in comedy show, a well reciprocated genre in today's times?
"If I have to talk about making choices, I might as well start a production house and launch myself in a film," she quips. She further maintains that, "I am open to doing all genres; provided it's a good script and a good show," she adds.
