Iam damn sure she would have never supported these social evils and Indira at least has a bit of heart but Zaara is total heartless.A woman who didn't even tolerate an 8 years old child and didn't think about her beloved Rishi abd also before planning for Indu's death Iam sure if she would have to tolerate such family, either she would have made a big drama or she would have poisoned the whole family.

Why Indira thinks that " God did nothing good for her ? Indira always has negative outlook on things, Half emty glass mentality . She survived last stage BT , she walk away from burning Pyre and Walked to Pakistan . Saved by Kabir . found by Indu her own daughter , survived assacinstion attempt by

Zara ,mentally challenged cured by Husna song ( this is Gods miracle ) third degree burns disappeared , reunited with husband and family . And survived stab wound . She is really loved by her husband Is this bad luck or good luck ?? For me it's Damn good luck .
I think Indira is confused and doesnot know what she is . If you ask me. I would label her as agnostic .
Like Dia mention. Indira has been in temple Prayed took Prasad and Shidoor from Pandit .. She did Pooja for Indu when Sweta demanded so she is not atheist !!
I really donot understand why anyone needs to refused to participate in Pooja .? If you do not believe in it what's wrong if you participate to respect your elders. Or as social function as you said in your post. Why any one needs to be so rigid and lecture everyone on Usools ? Very complex character indeed . .. Its hard to comprehend .

. I agree with you, Indira has got such a loving husband ! She should laugh n enjoy her life with him instead of complaining that god has not done anything for her, it is a very twisted approach by the writers to show that even if rk has done everything n so much for Indira yet she is not fond of saying that n then to our horror some ppl are forever blaming rk for almost every wrong doing in indira's life😡 will he ever be appreciated by Indira n by some forum members? theTag line of hd should be written as ---oye rk! You have to keep on proving your love for Indira n go on n on n on ...no one can do anything to help you in that you have to do it man!- hmm but we still love rk's role he is the best ⭐️n he has never failed to entertain us⭐️

I just want to say that yes Indira doesn't believe God, but sometimes we do certain things I mean we have to do which we don't want but still we do for other's sake.I just want that if Indira doesn't want to hurt JD then at least for her happiness she can act only if she wants.

All the religious complexities of Indira as shown should be blamed on the PH because I think she doesn't write her scripts in the same way of the other characters don't and just like the unemployment issues for the males.

Hi Paulomi,
@ bold- this is the part that I find very strange and confusing with Indira. Her belief in god seems to be very conditional- if "good things" had happened to her, then she would have continued to believe in god? And because she prayed and didn't get what she had hoped for, she stopped believing? This is not how faith works. Either you believe that there is an ultimate power that directs our life with a purpose or you believe that there is no such conscious power in the universe.
I agree with the rest of your comment. Indira forced Rishi to marry/enter into a relationship without his consent...all he's asking her to do is sit in a puja. I think she can do that much for the family's sake. And yes, the inconsistencies in ALL the characters are attributable to the writers.

@bold no no by that I wanted to say that when she got the love of her life, she slowly started believing the people nearby her,she slowly started having faith in God,so she prayed to God for the happiness and well-being of her husband and also that she can carry out all her wife's duties nicely, for the first time she went to the temple after so many years, but what God has given to her within a few moments, her husband got kidnapped and within a few months she had BT and then 8 years of separation.

I just wanted to say when we do something for the first time, but when we don't get good results from it.Of course it is not necessary that we will also get whatever we want, but still acts as a kind of negativity na,that was the problem with indira i believe. It is a common human phenomena. All would have felt like that to some extent who would have faced. That was what I wanted to say through that sentence.

In HD you will find everything is confusing, there are amples of examples.
