Why do we need to fight again? Its sad that none of the actors from the show we like got nominated. The fact that Rati and Sumit were both kept out of the nominations starkly puts both of them in the same position here. Also there is a lack of research here. Sumit did get nominated for the ITA fresh face award. But so did Rati in 2008 for Miley Jab hum tum for portraying Nupur. She lost to her costar Sanaya just like Sumit lost to another talented actor, Kushal Tandon. 😊 Now Rati would not get nominated in 2012 for a debut award now will she? Because HD doesnt mark her debut as the lead of a serial. And not forgetting she did win 'Gr8 performer of the year' like Vivian Diseana from the ITA board itself which marks her popularity and her contribution to Indian tellydom. Instead of trying to pull each other down by statements like "How can we compare SV to Ram Kapoor" and "Rati's fans using MIDS to win her online polls" I see it differently. SV getting nominated with the likes of Ram Kapoor would have been a privilege which edifies his trials and tribulations in the industry. Aj nahi to kal sahi. 😊 And Rati's fans doing whatever they are doing simply corroborates the massive fan following she has. She has diehard fans, something which is a feat in itself. I wish everybody could see it like this without having to sling mud at one another. Also, its a loss for all HD fans that both of them are being neglected over and over again.
Ps: Its naive to think that only Rati has her fans making MIDs. Every actor has his fans doing the very same. This we all know for a fact. So if no one wants to play fair, what can one do.
