I am really sick nd tired of this show...one day i truly actually wanted my Hitler Didi back..But not this way...all the charms, all the essences have been lost...i dont want this Indira who is just like in the making of another Zara, puppet of Rishi.on the other hand CVS are interested to spread the social msges rather than to concentrate the main story...its not bad but overdoses are always harmful...specially when u guys(CVS) are confused between right or wrong...

1ST u show dat Indira is a strong headed woman,a protester of every wrong deeds ...on other hand she kept quiet when her husband slapped her...do u knw this is a criminal offense. .i think u are unaware of this fact,if not, then plz dont show dat Indira is a symbol of power ,or durga Kaali whatever.stop making mockery of women power.

2ndly one fine evening they (indira & rishi) want a kid...ok fine lets start making love...when there is no emotional bonding,no love (plz dont called it love to disrespect the very term)...no understanding..more over when they both dont have any job...no future planning...when their only kid is spoiled like hell...and d logic behind it ridiculous..

last but not d list indira always uses her husband name after her's its may b one kinnda social message according to u guys i think.😆.a girl who has full knowledge of law...who utters sections of IPC many times dnt even know dat its not a rule, custom law or so on...

when i stared watching this soap i thought may b some educated persons are involved in it...but u guys (cvs) again proved me wrong..

After learning that a new leap is on d way... i'm really happy nd looking forward a new story and of course a brand new avatar of RP.i wish to see her as a elder version of INDU...omg Rati di i'll really very happy if u do so...its a new challenge for you...i mean its a challenge for every actor to play a quite younger role than their actual age...i m super excited to see ur new look...If Amir Khan portrayed a college going kid at his age in 3 IDIOTS...then why not you Rati di... All the best...

l
ets hope 4 d best...i hv no complain wid u guys (cvs).its ur story nd u hv full right watever u want to show...but my problem is dat u guys hv promised to show something nd completely break ur promise in no times...

I agree with quite a lot of things you said. Is stupid to plan another child when the already existing one is a.mess to handle. Rishi slapping her is disgusting (i am not trying to say he was right) but you don't go to court for each petty fight. seema you know quite a much about law, you mind telling me if there is a law that says that a a woman can not go slapping everyone. 😕
Lastly, there has been a topic of discussion as to should she use her husband's surname. here I wouldn't age to what you have to say. I would not change my surname, it defines me but that doesn't mean I will go on telling people not to use their husband's name. It is not for a legal issue she is using his name but for her own pleasure because legally, that's not his name at all. She knows that well and She likes to have her husband's name along with her's. she has a horrible family and a father. I find it perfectly sound decision to get rid of her father's name.
I to would love to see her playing Indu . She has already played a young girl as Nupur. She was shown to be only 19. She did that quite well 😳

@bold ya u dont go to the court to each pretty fight when u was slapped by ur husband in front of public, media or everybody...even in private place...its not a big deal for u to get humiliated day by day...its a petty issue 4 u...not only u its a petty issue for almost every women in India...thats why even in this modern era we compel to enact a law to protect Indian women..but here m not talking about people like u who think its a petty issue...m talking about a girl like Indira...who knw or at least can differentiate wat is right and wat is wrong...dats why i started watching this soap...if its a story of a girl like u who thought wats a big deal if my husband slapped me nd who may think m the punching bag of my husband's anger then i never bother to watch...

nd ur next query i love to inform u no dear there is no such laws...coz our law is little bit biased when it come to women...there is no such law if a woman slapped a man or humiliates him...coz our law still think woman is always right...a mere sentence "i was tortured by my husband" is enough to put him behind d bar...u might think there is lots of misuses but i can assure u d ratio is very very very low...coz in our country most of the women r like u who still think its a petty issue...so this "biasness" has its own justification...

@red ..& about using surname for her own pleasure ...oh really plz give me a break...if its just a sake of pleasure then the same thing applicable for a man also isnt it...for ur kind information our country is open.people of here can use their name only if they dnt want to use their family name i mean surname...becoz here people was known by their name only...coz our country is secular...but many women think its compulsory using their family name before marriage nd using their husband name after marriage...if Indira said that she used her husband name in her own pleasure, she uses her husband's name coz she loves her husband...then i hv no objection...but i think nothing happened like this ...they present it such a way as if its a compulsory...

@pink ya i knw dat she can portrays Indu's character perfectly...coz she is a fabulous actor...b4 this show i really dnt knw her name...but after saw the 1st epi i fell for her crazily...its may b her magic dat i wrote over here, fight for her,do many things which i hv never imagined..i call her didi as if she is my family member ..as if i knw her...dats a magic of an actor...may b she dnt knw how good she is...

nd lastly i wrote dis not for comments or likes..i wrote this coz i knw cvs might read this thread...coz in the time of Mandira's rape case what i wrote over here few days later Indira told exactly d same...its not a coincidence coz that was my own interpretation of a particular section...coz cvs dnt even knw how to start a court proceeding... dnt even knw Rape cases are not only come under the purview of IPC there r many acts like EVIDENCE LAW...my interpretation was from evidence...nd i never care to said dat mine is used as dialogue...i thought they used it some moral purposes..

nd finally if u want u can quote me but m not coming here to entertain u further...sorry dear...

I can understand your frustrations regarding this show. I actually have had the same since day 1- but when I expressed these frustrations (like many others who came before me), I was labeled a Indira basher . I don't know if you and me have been watching the same show, but Indira has been willing to accept abuse from all her family members since day 1 (back then people called it "unconditional love for her family"). And I'm sure you will agree with me that abuse does not have to be just physical- if anything, verbal and emotional abuse is just as wrong.
Not only has Indira been willing to accept abuse herself, she has stood silenly as a spectator and watched other women get abused as well- Jhumpa and Kutumb come to mind. I mean all the instances that Inder beat up Jhumpa or slapped Kutumb, Indira just silently stood and watched 😕
Like you, this portrayal of Indira really bothers me. If she lived in a small village without access to resources, was not very educated about her rights and the law, and did not have the ability to be financially independent, I could understand her plight. But if the so called Hitler did of CC is willing to accept abuse for herself and other women in her family, then I really don't understand how she is supposed to represent a "modern, strong, independent" woman of today.
But in Indira's case, abuse is a two-way street. She abuses and humiliates her family members (including her husband) and they give it back to her and then everyone seems to be happy at the end of it all 😆 I'm no lawyer but I'm sure that physical assualt (in the form of slapping in this case) is punishable by law. And as you know, the law does not distinguish between the gender of the "slapper." So if Rishi is going to be sent to jail for slapping, I'm sorry to say but Indira will be in the jail cell right next to him for all the physical abuse she's dished out to other people (if you need examples, I'll be happy to elaborate).
Regarding Indira taking up Rishi's surname, it seems to be a trivial issue. If taking your husband's surname or not taking it was a marker for a woman's strength, then Hilitary Clinton or Michelle Obama would not be considered some of the most powerful women in the world 😆
Btw, I hope its okay that I responded to your topic- I mean generally when one posts a topic on the forum, its an open invitation for everyone to respond and share their views. If your topic is just meant to be read and responded to by the cv's, please note that in your topic the next time so people don't get confused. Either way, I really hope that you come back to entertain us all soon- i enjoy reading your posts.

ya u r absolutely right Michelle Obama Hilary Clinton changes their surname...why becoz their husband is d president of America...not only dat i give u many examples like victoria ADAMS adopt her husband's surname i.e Beckham...why coz their husbands hold extreme positions in their own field...they are become glamorous by their husband's glory..nd for ur kind information Pratibha Patil's husband known as MR. Pratibha Patil..coz again his wife hold some extreme position...And where Rishi belongs...He is jobless, drunker, irresponsible, always roaming for love or lust watever.so the comparison should stop here...

my problem is not why Indira uses his surname ...she has full right watever she want...my concern is cvs shows it like its a compulsion of a woman...if they promised me to show some saas bahu types of stuffs i hv never bother to watch.one hand they presents her as a "mashiha" to change the society on the other hand they treat her like an ordinary woman who is a puppet of her husband...i think cvs dont knw dat its not compulsory dat u hv to adopt ur husband surname...i thought some educated people may write this script...but again my assumption is wrong.

nd next is u may not notice my previous post...where i mentioned that yes indian law is biased when it come to an woman...and it has its own justification plz go through it...

lastly m not frustrated...dat too for a daily soap...hahaha...u hv no idea abt me dats why u make such types of comment...u can write anything in this thread...be comfortable ...nd plz feel like home...i hv lack of time management skill...so i cant avail myself to come here...u guys plz carry on...

Hi Supriya ( think this is your name . If not I am sorry about mistake in advance)
We never cross our path but today I want to introduce my self I am Heema, I am Married, I am very successful in my personal and professional life and I have taken my husbands name and I am very proud of it .
This is personal choices and what ever flots your boat you should go for it.
I took my husbands name because I love him, respect him, wanted to join him in and show unity as family and just wanted to be part of him because I love him. No one asked me. My hubby never encourage me to change my name or my in law had no problem keeping my maiden name bescuse professionally I was using my maiden name .
When you have children it's easier for couple to have same name . It's less confusing for children and they feel very secure . This is personal choice but it helps with legal issues and tax purposes inUS ( I sm US citizen but proud Indian descend )
I never thought I lost any respect because I have my husbands name next to me or I have any identity issues. It's just the name that I happen to choose for myself .
I just want to make one correction that when Hillary and Michelle married to their respective husbands these ladies were more sucseeful than their husbands and Husbands had long way to go. Borak Obama worked for Michelle , she was his boss. He was not president when they got married. And these ladies very successful, and using their husbands name did not loose any respect in the socity .many time I ave heard prsess adresses them As mrs clinton and mrs Obama .I have great respect for them as mothers and wives .BTW Victoria Bechham was Victoria Adams AKA Posh spice was very famous before she was married to David and took his name . Before their MARRIGE they both were very famous, but she choose to take his name !
Now About Pratibha Patil. I am Maharashtrian descend my family knows Partibha Patil. and Mr patil doesnot mind when he is referred as Mr pratibha Patil but he is very proud of her. Patil is his last name and she carries his name. She respects her husband and I have personally witnessed this.
Now @underline . Indira married Rishi knowing all the great adjectives you used.so it was her choice and I do not see that Indira has ever expressed her regrets . So why should this bother any one ?this day and age we are allowed to choose our husband and Indira did it. I am very happy to see she dropped her fathers name !!

Like Heema already mentioned in her comment, both Michlle Obama and Hillary Clinton took up their husband's last names before their husband's came in the public spotlight. Both these women are highly educated and command respect for their personal accomplishments. They may not have been as famous had their husbands not been in the political arena, but that does not reduce or diminish what they have accomplished by virtue of their own abilities. Btw, another woman who has made a world of difference despite taking up her non-celebrity husband's last name- Kiran Bedi.

Where in the show has Indira been shown to be forced to take her husband's last name?? I don't recall any such scenes. When she calls herself Indira Rishi Kumar, she almost says it with a sense of pride. Now where this pride comes from, I don't know- you'll have to ask Indira herself because she is the one who married Rishi and continues to live with him and wants to have another baby with him- apparently she finds something attractive in him. From your comment, it seems like you are of the view that all "ordinary" women who take their husband's last name (which btw is probably 90% of the women in the world) are somehow becoming "puppets" and that if a woman hopes to change the world, she should not take up her husband's last name. What gives you this impression?

The way your post is written seems to imply that you are frustrated with the writers of this show and I simply stated that I could relate to that frustration. Afterall you took time from your busy life to pen down your issues with the show and Indira's character- that seemed to imply that the daily soap does affect you. But anyway, thank you so much for allowing me the permission to comment in your topic...its quite generous of you.
