In many cases parents are not greedy but they are helpless as their child wish to participate.

Specially these adult numbers like Sheela ki jawani, chikni chameli, munni badnam etc.

Yes, I am with you. It is quite a dilemma, however I think both parents and their children are at fault to some extent. Participating for survival (eg. if the parents have no source of income) is a valid reason. Every talent should be unfolded and if children really wish to participate then they should not be stopped. But I have a problem with these adulterous performances you mention. Children should behave and be treated as children, even though the songs they dance on are adult numbers. They do not really remain children when they start wearing cheap clothes or do the wildest stunts like real stunt performers.

Sachin bro, I will have to check out as I am not aware of any such laws/guidelines here in Norway. However, I can say quite strongly that children do not appear in such costumes very often. You can see them more often in traditional clothing which is far more conservative or simple should I say. As far as the children's willingness is concerned, I think Norwegian parents are quite naive generally speaking. It is not that much of "do it for the money" thing here, neither do such shows have that "wow" effect like in India. I hope you see what I mean to say. To give better answer, I must do some research. 😉

@bold. And people wonder why this forum is so divisive and there can't be a healthy discussion on any topic. If you didn't like a particular scene, wouldn't you agree that there are better ways of putting it or better yet just writing about what you did like. Why is it so important to make it obvious everytime that you don't like anything else in the show besides your fav actor?

I really think that the more scope there is for romance, the more they manage to murder the sentiment and emotion. Or, I should say, do not manage to portray it properly.

Now, I am going to ramble. Please bear with me.

Not sure if you have been watching HD from epi 1, but there was an epi in which Rishi proposes to Indira just after Kutumb has hurt her (saying "kaun karega tujhse shaadi?"). In return, she throws a googly at him and asks him to introduce her to his parents. By this time in the story, they share a mutual respect and are aware that the other person affects them. But nothing has been said or acknowledged. But there are moments and there are undercurrents. Even the scene in which Rishi actually proposed to Indira in the barsaati and in which she is surely impacted/affected/touched, but yells at him. That is my favourite scene because it had depth and both Rati and Sumit were fab in it. They managed to convey the inner turmoil beautifully and without uttering a single sound.

These scenes had depth. That kind of depth is missing from the scenes/moments being written now. Sure, we are getting the promised quota of Inshi/Zashi, but it is not of the same quality.

Just my POV. And whoever read this ramble, thanks for your patience! 😊

ya i have been watching from epi 1 and the scenes u mentioned were of january i think 15th and 23rd

actually yes the romance, the relation which touched us that time,oh Giod Iam still blushing,is not touching now,I mean as Preeti always says Ila Bedi always hurries up there romantic tracks t bring in the torturous tracks just to prove ZINDAGI JUNG HAI

where are those scenes where both used to understand each other's feelings without saying. In 23rd,Rishi actually did propose her but seeing her anger and for the fear of loosing her forever he lastly ended saying it was a joke and in 27th jan in the roof when he saved her from Sameer, that NA BOLE TUM NA MAINE KUCH KAHA type scenes oh God,all the time he was giving hints that she loves Rishi but Indira didn't accept, those days were really golden moments of HD.

if we go down the memory line then yes i remembered INSHI initial days, i loved when they first time played bol na halke halke when they returned from macau and i remember how much i loved that scenes and my all time fav scene of INSHI is when Indira left SN once again after returning from Macau and their bike ride to hotel where Indira is struggling to place her hand, Rishi takes her hand and places around him
the simple gestures are simply superb😳

Some interesting points here. Esp. the children's willingness and the "do it for the money" bits. Economic environment and how it shapes the approach to arts and fostering talent. Sounds like a thesis statement 😛 But it would be really interesting to read up on these...

@ Indianfighter : Bashers falls into the category of namecalling, refrain from making remarks on your fellow inmates. Also, it would be better if you stop making indirect attack on others.

@ Warz : Don't jump into the topics and retaliate.

Stick to the discussions please. Learn to respect each other POV.
