I do feel he is a shy guy and can be far more interactive. As an HD fan I would have loved to have known more about him before HD ends. I find it strange that Rati has been doing the promotions and the sbs/sbb interviews all by herself while all the lead pairs work to promote their show, together! Doesnt bother me as long as it does not diminish his chances! But I do feel publicity is not a bad thing, especially in this industry and Sumit can work on his PR skills. He has been in the industry for quite some time.😊 I guess he is a very serious person! I just have rebuttal on your post Ankita. I thinks Sumits knows What is is doing ! he is not looking for overwhelming popularity . He is just interested in acting . I know fans miss out of him. I know I do . I wished to know more about him as person but I think he was burn during Macau incidant with his girl friend. I think he was socked and learned his lession.
I do not agree with you that he appears uncomfortable with his costars. Every one of them , and lately Aasia stated that he is fun to work with. I think I chooses not interview with them with media and hides. ( I donot agree with this . But same time I respect his decision). I think this is well calculated risk by Sumit to perseve his own personality .
PR for his show is needed but I think that show need to push him . They need to give him responsibility . He and Rati did few promos and they looked great together . Rati is very famous person and they use her popularity and this is female lead show. They did not even have curtesy to put him on montage . His fans are asking for this for long time. Shruti just enter the show and she is with Rati on the montage .Why was not he included ? Yes this will affect him in future but most of the producers and director know that he is very serious and hard working man that might be enough to get more work. SO different strokes for different folks !! Every one is different. We need to accept it. YES I want to know more about Sumit but I might not ever know it and I need to accept that. I will still love him as actor and person!!! I
