Instead of taking a time leap, the writers of this show need to take a leap forward in their heads and really get out of their obsession for Indira and her greatness. In order to put Indira (I'm assuming zara will be proven as Indira soon) on the pedastal, they degrade every other character and relationship in the show so that Indira the great can swoop in and fix everyone. Lets just admit it manhata is an incorrect term. Otherwise I would probably say "Where do you find such a tailor made character like Rishi in this universe?" The cvs have tried a little too hard to establish how pure and unbridled his love for Indira is and how mahan he became by saving her brother(the brother who inadvertently turned into evil just to give more weight on Rishi's selflessness) and all those other things which made Rishi what he is, an epitome of love. 😕

I cant say anything better about Indira herself. Forceful marriage. slapping when bored...and what not. 🤣 Lets not get our feelings about certain characters obfuscate our vision from seeing what lies right there... the characters are merely puppets in the hands of writers and the writers puppets of the PH who are puppets of the channels. Their is a hierarchy and Indira and Rishi fall right at the bottom of the food chain. 😛

And in every serial after a few months we see characters getting butchered and compromised and leads being glorified beyond our comprehension. If Rishi was given more prominence to your liking you would have not complained. And everybody has different opinions. So lets not blame the actors and their influence in the industry. The problem is with cvs and their desire to satiate everyone's needs and compromising their storyline only to get trp. It is a business and the cvs will be directed to do anything and everything which would get numbers and I doubt Rati or lets say Sumit can have anything much to do with this. This I am sure about after following Rati's last show. 😆 I hope Rati's old fans know what I am talking about. 😛

Indira was made mahaan to make her fans happy and Rishi was made mahaan to make his fans happy. 😆 Otherwise tell me would you say "Oh Rishi and his love for Indira" and things of the sort? Rishi cannot think for himself... he is merely a creation of these very same writers. Would you have found anything good to say about him if his character was completely compromised till date? rather pple find far more problems with Indira and called her mahaan! So who got compromised exactly? 😆 It is the one who gets mahanta forced down his/her throat who takes the maximum criticism dear. 😊 If they followed what they had set out to do we would be writing such things here on IF. 😆 Anyway this is a never ending debate and it will never bear fruit. Its better not to write things that instigate us to retaliate. We dont want any more of that on IF!

Ireally love reading what you write Walden(I think you know that very well), so please dont see this as some kind of rebuttal. Love Ankita.

Ps: To be honest I loved my flawed anti hero and heroine but not anymore. Their flaws were endearing once back in the golden days. You love them like family i.e overlook their flaws. But I guess the flaws seem so accentuated now because we have fallen out of love with all these characters who were dear to us once. Its just that we are not ready(well some of us including me) to accept the truth.
