Zee TV's Hitler Didi started with a bang withRati Pandey as the main lead and the channel had pinned its hopes on the show. After the initial buzz and good run, the show started dipping on the TRP ladder.
After establishing the connect with the viewers,Hitler Didi, like many other shows, lost its sheen and grip on the viewers. And now the makers are trying to pull out all stops to generate decent TRPs which will help the show to sustain in the cut-throat competition.
They tried different tracks and even made alterations in the storyline but failed to make an impact on the viewers. The production house and the channel have now decided to go for the next logical step which is a time-leap.
The latest buzz is that the leap will be introduced in the coming week and in all probability, actress Smita Singh will quit the show. Actress Navneet Nishaan has already re-entered the show to create some drama. The entire show is being revamped as an attempt to save it from axing.
Informs a source, "While the leap has been decided upon, we are not clear when it will be introduced. While few say that it is just around the corner and will be introduced next week, there are others who have been informed that the show will take a leap in the first week of September. The actors, expectantly, aren't happy with this development and many are planning to quit the show." Who remains and who exits, only time will tell.
