from the brink of death to the stage of life-indira...

Here I am, here I am, back from the brink of death.
BRAIN TUMOUR had me in its grip. From death's jaws, I did slip.
From the brink of death, I truly did come back.
Send me off to die, doctor's do not lie.
They wanted me warded, me on a bed.
My responsibilities said NO! not yet, not yet, lets try the stage of life.

-Rati Pandey delivered an intimate and authentic portrayal that was packaged in a manner unlike any protagonist I've seen before. I was on tears the entire time. I really loved to watch Indira.-

from the brink of death to the stage of life-indira..
.

Moving through Delhi 's fast-pace, life often seems a blur.
Yet, within this city, a group of people quietly seek solace by thinking of settling others before they leave,Indira is one...

A terminally ill but vivacious woman talks about the dying possibilities she's met with unexpected grace - and is amused over her own, fast approaching, death.

ill settle everyone and leave...

it isn't all that often that we hear from someone who will soon be dead.

This week, we did. This week, on Hitler didi , we saw a girl who used to be quite solid, but who's now very, very weak. Her face sketched of worry. Her skin, which used to be quite pink and shiny, looked pale and dull. You could see that underneath the skin was an undying determination, and that a determination was all that would soon be left.

The girl is Indira Sharma. she was the one who helped her family form the brink of loss to life, and then helped get it erected again. she has, though to say it bluntly, had more impact on the policies that shaped the Sharma Niwas over the past years than the actual elders. she's still full of ideas about what sharmas should do to get stable, and how it needs to address the problems of the niwas-for example the needed renovation, and how she needs to end the cycle of hostility that started with the nonexistent abortion crisis and continued when her married avatar wrecked her life partner's dream. But she won't be able to do all that much about it, because she is, according to her doctors, down to her last few days.

she was, she told the marriage broker , "in a death zone", a place where "there was such an intensity" and "such a power". This, she said, was "apparently normal". And so, she said, even though she'd rather "not be in that position", it was "the most extraordinary" time of her life. And certainly, she said, "the most important".

when she vowed to win the dance competition for her family...

You could see from the fire in her eyes that these weren't empty words. You could also see that whatever she is feeling now after winning today was something that was bringing a certain amount of sadness, but also an electric joy. We don't often see that electric joy, and we certainly don't often see it on TV, because we don't often get to hear from people who are down to their last few days.uniquely ,indira makes us go through that...

It's strange we don't, because an awful lot of people have got diseases and an awful lot of us are going to get it, But although people talk a lot about getting married, or having a baby, and talk a lot about having a cold, they don't talk all that much about getting everyone settled happily before they leave. And they don't talk all that much about responsibilities in the face of death ...uniquely,indira does...

"I thought," said indira in another scene this week, The "purpose", now, was "just to live this life of imminent or emerging death in a way that gives stable life to the people that matter to me". When the doctor in Shweta asked if she would swap the intensity of the "death zone" for years of life, she said she wouldn't. "This," she said, "is what i should be doing."

. .
We need to be reminded, by the people around us all the time, of the real meaning of life. But I can tell you now: the meaning of life is life itself. You can think that you'd do anything in the world to make sure you don't leave it behind incomplete and unsettled for the loved ones.

...just as she completed her winning moment today, she honored us with her testimony in convo with her dance partner in singh: "I focused on my responsibilities while I considered this competition. . . . The result is in your hands. . . . I am satisfied, never broken. . .. I've been brokenhearted, but I still maintain an oversized capacity for love."

an essential document in the annals of indian serials, a painful yet beautiful account of a young woman's ability to transform tragedy into boundless courage and hope and it was all set in motion by the sheer will, determination, and courage of indira who would pull herself back from the brink of death to become a winner and inspire
..
hitler didi's final 30 days is the heartbreaking and ultimately inspiring tracks of one such hero...indira sharma

I could see death is walking with her. It was obvious. I spoke quietly as I helped pray her life gets turned around. I was saddened to see what I saw and I wished there had been more time to say "Stop!!" To remind her of that great beginning of hers and tell her how strong she should remain. To let her know that the road she was walking with has had inspirational impact on the viewer who were walking along with her life.to let her know that there s an indira in all of us and that she is never alone... But there isn't the time.

if we consider the challenges, the fears we the ... regulars face everyday and all the avoidance mechanisms we engage in not to face them... now magnify that, many times. Perhaps, then we may have a slight notion of what this young woman's life was like. To be graced with problems, to be expected to be 'perfect' at all times, to have to portray an image created by others but at the core, not who you really are... and all the time, dealing with her own doubts, that she's not good enough.. no one but indira knew what her internal fears were, indira knew her gift was gone, her final days was a complete struggle for her, but like a Lion, she is pushing through it best she could...

.. What I can say is, her demons within must have been loud and viscous for her to have sought 'refuge' in such behavior of hitlerishhh. I mourn not for her illness, cause energy never dies... it transforms itself. I lament for her time spent in such pain... now, she's free..

Rati Pandey...

We were blessed with the opportunity to witness an amazing life, someone that touched the viewers with her gift of talent. It is now up to us, to choose which portion of that life we would most like to remember... her being rati or indira because she seems to live indira...

I wish i have the chance to tell her that she is not some ordinary diva. She is a DIVA! - Divinely Inspired Victoriously Anointed.
