Hi there fellow members,it is a very good topic,and I agree with all the viewpoints.As far as I believe,no theater plays,no movie,can create magic just with a good story.It is in fact the quality of direction,the skill of actors,and the hard work of every single person behind the scenes that work together."Hitler Didi".in the beginning,seem to have a team work,where we had a good story,good direction,and very good performance from the actors.And this is seen as the audience have appreciated it,and the way we still talk about the earlier episodes.But,now its only the actors,who are putting their best efforts to justify the story-line;and its sad that their hard work and efforts are not rewarded well by the writer,and the director.
There are innumerable loopholes in direction,which cannot be justified.And as everyone is saying, the story-line after the rape-case is derailed;the chain of events after that part of the story has gone haywire.For instance,the character Rishi could have just left then,and pursued his career,or dreams;his purpose of bringing back Indira's brother back to her was somehow fulfilled,and he even fought for justice for her sister,and won the case.There was no logical reason for him to stay back.In fact,his absence from Indira's life,and Indira's feelings for Rishi could be shown in a new way.Both the characters could have grown more,and the story could have been a much interesting one.There was no need to rush into the marriage-plot;and this is exactly what derailed the story.It is indeed the mishandling of the story and events that altered the good and simple atmosphere of the show.
This shows the immature experience of the new director,who has ruined the show.And to add more to it,the present kidnapping track is written.It clearly shows that neither the writer,nor the director do any research regarding their particular jobs.The writer,for instance,always focuses on the theme of the story while penning the story;if it is a story mirroring the real life,than the events in the story should be such,which makes us identify reality in it.And reality,in the earlier episodes,was justified to a certain extent.But now it seems far away from reality,because in rel life,for instance,anyone falling from such a height,as Rishi fell,would definitely have severe back injuries,even if the person fell on the pile of sand.The density of the fall and the speed causes the intensity of injuries,rather than the way of falling.Besides,when someone is forcefully pulled inside a stationed vehicle,it is a natural instinct to fight back;whereas,Rishi easily gives away to the goons and sits inside the car.When the car stopped and Rishi was pulled,he could have shouted for help,or defended himself;but the director made it so unconvincing that it didn't escape anyone's eyes.And we don't know what else is left to make this kidnapping track go on.One thing is for sure,what is done cannot be undone;but a whole new dimension can be given to the story if it is handled well hereon.We can just hope that we get back the magic of the show,that it once had,and enjoy and applaud the actors,writer,and director's work.Whether it is the story,or the director,it definitely needs a transformation to save the show.
