Why is pain necessary?

hello Guys,
I seem to be in throws of topic writing obsession. I am not sure why...maybe I will be cured soon when I have irritated people enough😃..

Coming back to the topic. I was wondering why does god inflict pain in our lives? And why does some of us seek out pain, what is the necessity or attraction of pain?

If you are watching HD you would realise why I wrote this topic. Currently Indira is going through a lot of pain. Many can't stand it. Many can and people like me are enjoying it. Somebody may think I have gone crazy but I know why I like this phase...

I believe pain makes a person complete and more balanced as a personality, it helps us in staying grounded and rational, it is a reminder to people that even if there is a rainbow after every storm, you also need to pick up all your scattered goods and get ready for another one...pain is a part and parcel of life..bigger eye opener than happiness...and no one should run away from that...rather embrace it..😃

So unlike a Lot of people in this forum I am actually enjoying this phase of Indira. It makes sense to me. She was always under a lot of strain due to her family and the conditions surrounding her...So how did we expect her to suddenly be blessed with happiness when there is so much darkness around her all the time?Changes come but they are long lasting only when they come slowly...

So happiness will come to Indira...with time. But first we need to see her achieve it cause for Indira nothing is a cake walk and everything comes after a LOT of trouble...😛

Do reply guys...your ideas about this topic...me waiting

Love
Rinky

coming 2 indira...we hv always seen her going thru tough times...bt wen she suddenly got happiness evn we cudnt digest it...(my mind has become trained 2 c her in trouble😆)d transformation was 2 sudden...
im happier 2 c her like dis may be bcos as an audience it all seems more relatable...life is nt always abt good times...so wen indu falls into trouble, i always look forward 2 as 2 hw will she fight dis time around... if they show indu happy 4evr den theres nothing left 2 show in it since d show's concept is all abt her struggles...so im eagerly waiting 4 dis track 2 unfold...

i came across a beautiful quote 2 sum up things...😳
'People come and go, pain comes and goes. But so does joy. And if our hearts are closed because we don't want to suffer, they won't be open enough to recognize the joy as it flies by.'

nice post rinky .agree wid u ...
m too njoying this track ...but not for those phylosophic reason u have shown .

m liking it bcz m geting chance to see rati dis acting talent ...it is universal truth that through pain human feelings ,emotions comes out more naturaly ,more deeply .
that z why tragedy is more popular than comedy .
its pain which touch the deepest core of our heart n n make our heart shake n we fail to forget that .n its indiras pain through which we get connected to her more ,through which we can feel indira more deeply .

more over its just a show n PaIN ,SUFFERING is a part of it just like human life ...otherwise what they will show?

n about all those phylosophical aspect i must say .there is a saying that ...if there was no darkness we could never have understood the value ,the importance of light .😃

loved the lines in bold...😃

I agree with the lines that indira being in pain seems more relatable...Cause we have mentally adjusted her to seeing her in pain...we could not accept her happy...as it seemed way too much for her to show so much positive emotion...in one go...maybe she should have been shown just smirking...and trying to stiffle a grin...but not smiling as mush she did...

I guess it was always the moment of glory before absoloute sadness...

and indu is one of those people who will struggle harder than others in life...cause thats what the basis of this show is...😛

hahahah philosophy...😆

Ok coming down to the point you made...I do believe sometimes Tragedy connects people more than comedy cause pain is a very deep emotions which affects us more than happiness...so yes when Indu goes through pain...we feel attached to her...feel for her...
AS for rati's acting...kya bolun..she berefts me of words...😃

My disagreement

First in life, we do not get any brownie points for pain. Do not invite pain in your life. There is enough of it as it is.

Second true happiness, when we are filled with absolute joy and are radiant, is fleeting. Like the happiness that Inshi achieved with the wedding day followed by rain dance.❤️ Because of definition of life. Something or the other happens that makes us loose that spark, takes the air out of our balloon like a parking ticket, unwanted bill, work problem etc.

Third, what lasts is satisfaction and contentment. Indira is now fully aware of Rishi's character as well as the life he planned for them. She was content. The unveiling of Rishi's character in stages was a painful process, but she is now fully cognizant of it and has accepted it. She was ready to embrace her life with him. vica-versa for Rishi

If it had been an arranged marriage between them, then one could have said "happiness can not come instantly (ala winning a lottery)". But they have seen a lot together, seen how the other reacts in worst possible circumstances in the past 6 months. So happiness and contentment did not come to them instantly to them.

This contentment was ready to last. If only both partners were ready to work on it and protect it, nurture it.

But Indira was not ready. Her family was the serpent in their forest, and she did nothing to protect themselves from it. Instead she dragged their future life purposely into the hell-hole that is her family. This was her biggest mistake.

It is one thing to love and support one's family. But one has to get something in return like love and support. She does not even get basic courtesy from them, rather we have seen repeatedly, they have aggressively worked to make her more miserable. What have they not done to Indira?

She could be feeding this serpent the rest of her life, and she will still be no closer to happiness as she is now. Rather as time passes, happiness will move away from her.

This is the main flaw in your thesis

Indira really has to realize that she is enabling their hellish behavior. Their is something in her psyche that in a masochistic way, gets weird satisfaction from them inflicting pain to her

I can argue in detail, in a generic context, why pain does not invite happiness and make it long lasting. But that will bore people. so I will refrain

In short bolo na ki...Anyay ko sehna Anyay hota hai...! 😆
Indira must realize this soon.😭

Thank You for your post .
Pain is a "necessary evil" because I believe it teaches us how to protect ourselves physically, emotionally and build our resilience. We learn to cope with life's adversities through experiencing pain and this in turn heightens our understanding and appreciation of happiness/pleasure.
Indira has become strong through experiencing pain she has learnt to be resilient and this will
help her with her arduous task of finding Rishi- her happiness. Indira will show how to turn the negative experience of pain to bring on the positive experience of joy and happiness.
To quote Rinky: " So happiness will come to Indira...with time. But first we need to see her achieve it cause for Indira nothing is a cake walk and everything comes after a LOT of troubl"

Another awesome post by you! Very well written.. ok let me add my thoughts..

Pain is a part & parcel of life.. Most of the times people who have experienced pain, they have a different understanding of the life. Many times painful experiences bring out the best of qualities in us..

HD is closer to reality.. And in real life , pain comes after pleasure or vice versa ..
Even though its extremely painful to watch Indira in pain, this track appeals to me coz it brings out the Best in Rati.. Rati is extremely convincing in portraying pain.. it reaches out to your heart.. You can't help but reciprocate to her pain..
And at the end of day, we know that she is definitely going to fight this pain... Its gives a inspiration to me when I watch Indira fighting all the struggles & facing the world.. Its brings kind of a positive energy into me.. 😳

Indira's happiness, even though it was sudden had inflated us.. we were completely engulfed by her happiness.. Everything was going so well in her life & suddenly a mountain of sadness burst upon her.. That is the reason I think many are not liking to see this pain of her.. We drowned ourselves in her joy.. after ages Indira got the happiness which she certainly deserved.. After that watching her suffering again is painful.. but as its said pain is a part & parcel of life.. After these few painful moments maybe we will get to see something more joyful.. There is surely joy hidden in every kind of pain according to me.. Indira will surely get happiness after this pain.. And as this show revolves around Indira's struggles, she be ready to face them with more vigor.

Lastly I must add, Kudos To Rati! She is doing a brilliant job..Her presence on screen is very powerful.. be it any kind of emotion, be it pain, be it happiness, be it love, be it any kind of emotion she manages to convey them perfectly! I'm enjoying this track immensely due to Rati's mind boggling performance each day!

Ok this turned out to be a pretty big reply.. I can go on & on when it comes to Rati! 😳
