Of late there is a lot of discussion on Rishi's character and predictions over the new entry...
so,I thought I would make a post on Rishi...who he is for me and what he stands for...
Iam not a very good writer so,I ask all the wonderful writers of the forum to give their insights into
this unconventional character...This is my take...😃

Rishi..Rickey...Rishi😍...What can I say about him... a rarity in the television world.
Someone who doesn't care for any societal norms of respect, status or money, which is why
he often comes across as lacking in self respect...he doesn't follow any conventional rules of society, but only his heart.❤️
Believes in using his brain and solving the problems through talking rather than using the muscle power.Words are his strength and he doesn't hold back in using manipulative ways if needed..

We rarely see him get angry😡.. only if he perceives any danger for his love or his loved ones
like he got angry once on radhey ,many times on sameer and on lallan in friday's episode...

The reason i think he stays quiet with sharmas is out of his respect for Indira and also because of the guilt he carries...We all dislike it when he bends his head and doesn't explain himself...
the man with magical words goes quiet...but,that is Rishi.. Isn't he?...He doesn't cover up his mistakes with his words.. it takes a lot of strength to accept ones mistakes and to take in all the humiliation that comes with it.I wouldn't say he is all perfect and I don't want him to be...It makes the characters too unreal and boring🥱

He has his flaws...he lies😔 and hesitates to come clean until its too late..his need for love and fear of loosing it stops him from being honest...he kind of gets selfish here for his love and I like that..it makes him look more human... but, he does own up his mistakes and gives his life to set them right. We saw it in Vidith's case and he shows tremendous inner strength to keep going when things are against him and fights and stand for his love no matter what and that for me makes up for all the flaws his character portrays...He doesn't like to hurt anyone, has a golden heart, listens to only himself, his own man and to put it simply he is a...

What impresses me most about Rishi is unconditional love and intense loyalty to a woman who, till recently, was not accepting him in her heart. He stayed true to her.

The fact that he gave up obscene riches, accepted disownment from his family, all so that he could experience love in his life. He took a big risk then because his love was not accepting him because of his identity

Then he took on his own family to bring justice to Mandira.

But coup d'grace for me is his repentance for accidently hitting Vidith. It is a rare man who does what he did

I say thisto Rishi haters with a lot of hurt in my heart - One can dislike SV but how can one not appreciate the unconditional love of Rishi? Isn't this what we most want in our own real lives, and sadly have a hard time finding?

I am desperately hoping that Inshi stays intact and we see a lot of SV in future

Good post whatever you expressed about this character is absolutely right.
Like how you described him a man who hears his heart and does not care for what the others will say.

Thank You for your post, I appreciate your sentiments- The carefree and openly loving qualites of Rishi without doubt has had a significant impact on a stern, unloved and unappreciated Indira. Rishi's endearing presence has influenced and changed Indiras outlook.
He has given her precious gifts of unconditional love, joy and laughter. She in turn has learnt to accept love and value it and him. Rishi will always be recognised and appreciated.

Thank you for your comment...
Yes,Intensity in whatever he does is what sets him apart...Intensity in love,,loyalty and even
repentance😍.
Iam quite positive that Inshi stays intact like Rishi promied to Kutumb he is the one
who would keep that connection between Indira and the family...only he can make the
world understand her...no one else can..😊

His heart is what attracts us all... isn't it? He shows such a right balance of
innocence and street smart ways, calm and anger, selflessness and a ting of
selfishness and possessiveness, simple yet complex... has many layers ...
just love him😃

You are right...Rishi is the one who could break through the emotional walls
of Indira and make her embrace life...He is the perfect one for her and she for him..
Inshi rocks and Inshi forever😊

First off, nice topic 😊

@bold: Rishi comes across as lacking in self-respect because he does not respect his own self when it comes to Indira and her family. He places her above his own self. it is not as though he was never hurt by her. Each time she has told him "yeh hamare ghar ka maamla hai" or "hamare beech mat aiye", you can see the hurt in his eyes. But his love for her makes him overlook everything. That type of slavishness is the only quarrel I have with his character. In all other respects, he is, as you very rightly said, a Man of Substance 😊

@ knownturk

You are right...he puts his ' love ' above his 'self '...a man born to love and
when he finds a woman who can selflessly love and strive for her family, his heart
found its destination...now,all other aspects like respect, hurt e.t.c just gets washed
away in the flood of his love❤️...
As you rightly said he does get hurt whenever Indira separates him from his family may be
because he feels he still couldn't make that place in her heart that her family has😭...

He does show attitude to Indira but,I guess his definition of the term ' self respect ' is quiet
different from ours😆...Anyways he did gain the respect of Hitler...his MMji and this is not
a small achievement😉
