If this is a form of silent protest and is strictly temporary, I'm with you guys. But if this is a mere knee-jerk reaction, then you guys need to think a little more about it. This kind of thing is not new to this forum. This has been the case from the beginning.

I registered in IF and started interacting with people on the HD forum after observing it for a while. A few sane posts by a few sane people seemed to make it worthwhile. Some of those sane people (Nels, Shridevi, and PaNa4ever) have already stopped posting. Any more sane people quitting and this forum will not be fit for meaningful discussion.

Please consider. A few people should not be deciding the course of action for others.
