I too noticed this part. He was very friendly with smita, but not so with rati. Its as if he gives intv or poses with her coz he has to do it, no coz he likes to do it. As a fan of sumit vats, it hurts me to see his aloofness towards rati.

i think his stiffness towards rati is because of showdown by his girlfriend at macau and now inshi getting popular so sumit gf will be more possessive towards him

\so sumit is very carefull and become rigid he must not be rude to rati for sure but he is stiff and

does not want to share offscreen with rati poor fellow has to balance real gf and his professional life

and is sumit is rude to rati she will tolerate it chemistry onscreen is good when you are comfortable with each other
