Off camera chemistry between Sumit and Rati

Given that I have an observation:

1. When there is a camera there for interview with Sumit, alone or with Rati, he gets all stiff and close mouthed. Sometimes it is hard to believe that some very damak-e-daar dialogues of HD have come out of the same person.

Same goes for today's SBB interview. He was all stiff. If he was playing a strong, silent, stiff in the a*se characater, no one would do a double take. But this guy plays Rishi and has seduced many of us with his charm. So, it does cause mind some grief in adjusting to two polar opposite personnas of Sumit. Only interview when he was slightly, "slightly" being the operative word, less stiff was the holi interview.

2. However, I have noticed in the last couple of behind the scenes segment that his offscreen antics with Indira could'nt be more different than the stiffness the two show when mike is shoved in front of their faces. Witness today's SBB segment right after Mandira slaps Sameer. You can see Sumit and Rati sharing a joke, laughing with each other quite joyously, with none of the fake smiles bespeaking "offscreen chemistry" or fake "stiffness", "if I stand near her and look into her eyes, I will catch plague". Same happened a couple of weeks ago when we saw the shooting of the police station scene. At that time too, it was quite obvious that the two were sharing a hilarious moment together. In these natural moments, the fear of catching plague disappears all together.

1.) In the Macau interview, inside the hotel room, both SV and RP gave joint interview. In the beginning it was only RP and when she tried to pass on the further explanation to SV suggestively, he very smartly through his eyes asked her to continue.

2.)Second instance is quite recent, when many links for 100 episode celebration party were out. If we look at this one particular video by Rajshri, RP while speaking to reporters said that she expects 10000 episodes to air and stopped in between asking some one if he heard what she has been saying? On receiving the negative reply with excitement she repeated her wish for having 10000 episodes. Now it is not shown whom she asked but if we focus on the answer, it came from SV.

Both these instances prove their camaraderie.

This is the whole point of the thread.

Sanam put it very well as Sumit suffering from CSD. When he knows camera is on him, he becomes stiff and reserved. When we catch him and Rati unawares, we see them laughing, looking at each other etc.

true.. 100% agree with u.. even i have noticed that SV being quite stiff and very reserved if he realises that the camera is on him...

there is this video that towards the last few seconds, rati and sumit look very comfartable with each other...rati says something while adjusting the jacket and sumit shows a very concerned look on what she is doing wit the jacket... it was really cute..😳😳 i have attached the link for d video as well 😳😳
