this is kind of replying to the posts that target CVs and say that they ve changed characters from good to bad and vice versa. i dont think so, they ve changed storyline maybe idk but not the characters-
the point about how sameer has been shown or even rishi/ricky for that matter is quite justified i think.
when we see someone for the first time, we maybe or most probabaly not be in a position to understand them as person properly.
what we ve seen is a kanjoos OCD first , then a likable elder brother, a hardcore businessman, a diwaan with his arrogance of money, sibling rivalry, then a possessive personality and now maybe someone with a problem in the mind along with his OCD .
this the understanding we ve developed of sameer as a person (assuming hes real) or a character (as hes fictional)
again even in this we ve seen him the way we wanted to- some of us found him a possessive lover and some downright demonly.
but in no part have i actually felt the cv shave any confusion about him (or rishi ) being the way he is. no inconsistent dialogues - for eg if u do remember the first scene when rishi meets sameer , he tells ishaan that hes going to meet someone for whom he has been playing games. and when they meet they are first brothers and later on the rivalry shows up. even now sameer first refers to rishi as a brother refusing to accept that hes grown up and doesnt play for him anymore.
or for that matter the scene when rishi tells sam to back off (sam says that u mustve done something with indira) as she has confessed to him, rishi s controlling his anger and turning all brotherly is an attempt at regaining the disappearing brotherhood.sameer on his part started his psycho antics after this
so if we actually see its just that the cv s have shown us ppl the way we see them first as strangers then as friends or enemies then as mere acquaintances ,or as irritations in our lives or in some cases our loves . and lots of times as strangers still
it doesnt feel like they ve changed . similarly with rishi.
with indira, it was straight- they told us what she was in the first scene or the first promo and even why she was like that.
