Sorry, I am going to ramble a bit here. In the process, might just deviate from your point.

So far, we have only been seeing how much Rishi has been centered and anchored in Indira. For a guy who has given so much of himself to the woman he loves, I think is being judged harshly when it comes to right and wrong. And after all this Indira, despite loving Rishi a lot, can still let go of him. As someone said, she may love, but her previous let-down's will not allow her to trust. That's not being fair to a person who has stood by you through every major/minor/significant/insignificant issue of your life. What about right and wrong in this case? Is this what you give back?

But from her POV, she's going through hell and cannot bring herself to trust someone who has only told her lies. Ok, granted. But sometime, once in a way, she should sit herself down and ask the question "Is this possible? Can I go so wrong in judging someone?? Can this person really have such a dark side to him?" Till now, we have never seen her spend time with herself and ask herself anything. That bothers me to an extent and there are no satisfactory excuses for the lack of introspection. The only point I can think of is that this is her fatal flaw...everyone has a flaw and this is hers.

This separation should do good. Those who felt that this marriage was happening too soon can now rest easy and watch the two change and grow. Ideally, Rishi should get a grip over his excessive emotional dependence on her, rid himself of the dread of losing her and work towards getting the truth out. But after that is done, no more begging Indira to be part of his life. No more "Please". He needs to salvage his self-esteem and some part of his pride. Would love to see him get the facts out and leave the rest.

On her part, Indira needs to rid herself of her demons and learn to love. She loves him a lot. That's for sure. But she loves him because he is the only one who understands her and loves her for what she is. She found unconditional acceptance and unwavering affection. But Indira does not dread losing Rishi in the way that he dreads losing her. I'm hoping that this incident will make way for Indira to experience that feeling.

And why is it important for her to feel a similar dread? Because in a relationship of unequal intensity, trust comes at a premium (one of them easily crumbles..in this case, Indira), misunderstandings are rife, and only one person is doing the 'giving' most of the time. In Rishi's case, even if he has told lies, the intention was never ever malicious. He just did not think through situations from a long-term perspective and for long enough to find another way to do things. As someone pointed out, tiny lies told on a daily basis have cost him dearly. But he will now change, inevitably, and so will she.

To Sameer will go the credit of making it happen...the more he wilfully tries to drive them apart, the stronger they each become individually.

Just hope the characters get the time they need to make this journey. Hoping for the best. And yet, we don't know the whole story. Something might happen in tomorrow's episode to change all the opinions flying around in the forum today 😊

Please do ramble on. Very well thought out critque of both characters👏

Rishi is in a danger of coming across as a wimp. His "deer in headlights" look both times truth came out, and providing no justification leads to that impression. Yet he is the same guy who had strength of character to atone for his sins and to walk away from his family and their money for Indira. Very few so-called strong guys do that.

Many of us discussed same issues over the weekend in the Charcater study thread. Would love to hear expansion of your thoughts and like there
