n one more thing i wud love to add is indira confirming by asking "pacca..uss din ki tareh toh nahi" was too cute something new from hitler

they both made me forget for once that they were hitler n rishi..they were like cute babies crying for each other holding each others hands

Yeah, that was a subtle change though very significant. To me it was as if Indira has finally got what she desired/missed since her childhood.

Sorry I did not mean to judge your statement.
Yeah, that was more child-like to me ... little girl who needs assurance. Indeed Indira is a little girl at heart. And Rishi's cry baby act is always too good. Though his tears were genuine but I felt Indira questioning him about crying made him realise the effect of his tears on Indira. So he composed himself and continued acting. He was definitely enjoying the care he was receiving. 😆

Nels, I know we are gonna be disagreeing on the physical affection expression thing. I did not mind it at all. And infact it was much needed for all of us to see the conscious Indira from the unconscious Indira.
For Rishi to be physical warm etc, is normal. We can very well understand that from his friendliness. After all "touch" is also our fifth sense leading to bonding and showing sensitivity.

Indira as I said earlier, in her dreams was unrestrained and showed her longing (hug scene), but today, as I was explaining that day, presence of someone else makes her conscious and especially the same person who she longs for. She is instinctively withdrawing. This contrast had to be shown because this was for real.

As for all the other items that mentioned, true, quality was not good. Seriously the mixing and editing is not good. Its high time they paid attention to this. It seems they shoot longer scenes and dialogues, but when it actually comes to screen play with all those Aage Dekhiye Breaks and precaps (that have to be different from the next day start), they cut the scenes quite heartlessly. This is one of the worst shows in terms of loss of continuity. Ila believes in cuts and surprises, but she should also realise that jarring disconnect will cause disharmony. Today I did not like Rishi's voice in the precap repeat scene that starts as starting scene today. That only proves that they take the same action scene but change the dialogues for the next day. And for some reason today dubbing was not good.

Anyways, I am going to watch again to observe the childhood music and god bless thing. I think I missed it in watching the episodic story. For me always the plot takes the precedence followed by other elements 😆 unless something really grips my mind.

As for Rishi turning into Ricky Diwan, I can't wait for it to happen as it started now to materialize that it will happen. I was getting bored of Rishi, his barsaati and his containment, when the Ricky in him seems so resourceful. Everytime the brothers meet each other, Rishi has such a different aura that it naturally appeals to me. Truly speaking, even Indira will have to evolve herself in deserving Ricky Diwan. That was no way a becoming manner of a lady holding the collar of her beau and expressing her love. Rishi's words Aapko ye shobha nahin deta was so true. I actually felt ashamed. I couldn't laugh at that scene or think in terms of Indira being a Hitler. Yes, we are known to couples yelling and expressing their love. Its in passionate anger etc, but here it was our HD who just cannot find words but wants to remove her chappal and explain in that aggressive manner. Theekh hai Kirayedaar Rishi ye sab jhel lega, but it will not be a suitable behaviour for Ricky Diwan. So to think of it how much Indira has to learn on her way to sensitivity.

I apologize for diverting from the topic in my last para. I will stop here.

I knew this was coming and that too from you 😆, but I was prepared to accept it. I revisited it again and again but it seems this was last minute decision by creatives. Because after wiping off tears Rishi is shown withdrawing both hands and the next scene shows him holding her face by one hand. Probably your thoughts crossed their minds and they decided to keep it that way.

And Shri, your last para was just perfect. Nothing diverting! I was very disappointed by hoarse voice of SV in the beginning. So you can say my today's post does contain anguish. Anguish for not getting what I was looking forward to. 😆

i completely agree with the bold part. i actually cringed when she said "chappal utaru kya"...like u wud say to some local goon. it looked like an extremely rowdy & unladylike thing on her part. but then i liked the way rishi responded...he will never raise his hand...but his comments are more than enough to shut her up & knock some sense into her at the same time. Even Indira will have to evolve herself in deserving Ricky Diwan...this part is absolutely true. Kehte huye bura lagta hai (knowing her past circumstances & situations she has faced) but indira will need to develop some class & watch her actions & mouth to be a proper match for Mr. Ricky Diwan.

After enjoying a topnotch humorous episode, I found today's episode substandard. All thanks to conflicting technicalities!

One of the most pivotal moment of HD was destroyed by the poor sound processing. Rishi sounded so hoarse during the first 5 minutes that the vocal impact of an excellent conversation was eluded. The most entertaining element from yesterday's episode, i.e. SV's natural voice, was completely robbed off today. The ending scene from yesterday and the starting scene from today were totally disconnected.

However, the emotions were well enacted. The most adorable part was Indira expressing her desire of coming out of Hitler mode and Rishi reciprocating his happiness through his tears. I know people found it a contrast from regular situation of guy proposing the girl and girl getting emotional. But this was the best way of depicting love. It showed their comfort level in expressing emotions in front of each other without any hesitation. In a way it boosted Indira's emotional confidence. For the first time background score of her childhood was used while she holds Rishi's hand. She knew that in past she had hurt Rishi many times, physically and vocally but he never reacted emotionally. His response raised her concerns but he immediately composed himself without letting her know and continued playing to situation. His light-hearted humor sealed their confirmation of love for each other.

Immediately after this sequence, SV's normal voice resumed but the next blow came in terms of creativity. May be it was only to me, but today I found Rishi's character going astray for a while. Rishi wiping off Indira's tears was fine but then continuing to hold her face and later shoulder seemed weird. I was like that's not Rishi! He cannot be so liberal with physical affection immediately after Indira's confession. To me Indira was visibly confused and uncomfortable by this sudden physical affection, which I liked. And this was the reason I did not like her initiating the hug in dream sequence because that's just not part of her persona. Thankfully her discomfort was realised by Rishi, thus bringing back "our" teasing-flirting Rishi. Now the most awaited moment is when Indira will smile.

Just an observation, in the flow of thanking doctor Mukul, SV ended up saying his trademark words "God Bless" 😆. So, looks like he has his personal inputs as well to his performance.

I hope HD team takes care of these technical glitches.

i agree with the sound quality part. SVs voice lends its own charm to the situations he is enacting...be it fooling around, romance or crying. yesterday during the confession scenes i felt a disconnect between rishi & his dialogues...it could have been much more beautiful had they kept SVs original voice...

abt the physical affection part...rishi is gonna be this way i feel...n wat makes him ask for more physical contact (as in hugs, etc) is the constant pressure he must be feeling from Sam. Nobody is gonna be comfortable if ur elder bro is after ur love. the worst thing abt rishis character is he is not allowed the reveal all that he feels...even to the audiences...becoz of which many of his actions seem strange or weird even. yesterday when he kept that hand on her shoulder for longer than necessary...i had begun thinking...ab lagta hai wapas padegi ise 😆

Lovely post as always Nels! 😃

I was also thinking why Sumit didn't dub for his scene today. Your post cleared it..lol. It did not stop me from enjoying those two cute lovers. They were tooo adorable and sweet in that confession scene 😳.

I might be wrong but Sumit is looking really good these days 😛.
