Well there's also a difference in whom they see in FL.

In Anupama they see themselves, but not in imlie. Probably they see their DIL in imlie 💁

Because, viewers tend to project on fictional characters and not everyone is able to see beyond the surface (we can also say it's for entertainment so not everyone will think so deeply)

Now, i can take my example, why i like aryan more than anuj? Because i relate myself more to imlie than to anupama because she's closer to my age.

Take the opposite, middle aged women who form part of trp audience relate more to Anupama and more chances they relate more to narmada in imlie. (Yes don't be shocked, that's how patriarchy is perpetuated in the society, by women)

And hence the difference in acceptance of these men too.

Aryan exudes that dark aura and intensity that makes you loose control, anuj is more of a fluff , a vanilla .

Also it comes to age aryan reminds them of their youth whereas anuj of present.

Yeah. Total psychology hai, Aryan reminds them of all that is lost, and anuj gives hope of something that can still be found 🤷

That's coz anu maa keeps giving gyaan on every other occasion be it honeymoon or shaadi, and trp aunties use her bhashan as background noise while they do some other work in the kitchen 😊

On the other hand imlie needs to be watched with full concentration to know what exactly is tha new musibat on the fl.

Whether she is kidnapped or fighting terrorists or falling from mandap etc etc!!!

So trp aunties can't see it while working and hence the low trp👍🏼
