every story line anupamaa has / had could have been imlies .. shaadi track .. vanraj vs anuj

Akt vs aryan

now anupamaa adjusting to rich household could have been imlie adjusting to being a billionaire..

Baby track : anupamaa - adoption

Imlie - could have stuck to dealt either one of the leads fertility - instead of both

This is all convincing me that the makers simply have given up on the show

If only regressive content fetches trp , then anupamaa wouldnt be trp topper
anupamaa has ensemble caste - and strong positive ckts like devika , kinjal , samar , gk

We have 8 people - with 4 chudails - 2 fevicol muted - one FL and one ML

Anupamaa - is a balance of evrything , we get villain stuff , positivity , sub plots of side ckts , romance of the leads

In imlie - We get over does of romance and over dose of negativity , theres no pacing

Anupamaa - tackles every plot .. with little bit of logic

Imlie - fastfoward illogical plot with arylie lollipops

Feel absolutely bad for fahmmy and sumbul

Imo all there plans went to shambles with MV deciding to quit. To show parellels the other side has to be present. If MV wouldn' t had thrown tantrum we would have had all the parellels. Rathores will still be a chripy household bcz then tripathis would be present to balance drama.

Its just an unfortunate issue that imlie had to face and not anupama . There vanraj is still present , and so.is the shahs.

I wouldn't say much about pregnancy track bcz it was at behest of channel they introduced this. But yes nothing can explain the speed with which they are going. And the lack of logics is just lazy writing.

And though the track is what ever, we still have good progressive dialogues and a healthy relationship between leads.

There are still certain things I find problematic in anupama but thats for another day.

to answer your question even anupama is back to pre-lockdown trp that was about avg 3

imlie started after 1st lock down, so many restrictions in place, it got benefit that the whole entertainment industry did because of wfh and travelling restrictions from the start.

anupama isn't prime time slot and thus faces lesser competition.

also, if you compare it with trp of shows in same slot in 2018-19, imlie is still doing much better.

I will agree that it lost some audience because the exit of max old caste member led to a disconnect with audience and the new audience it gained after aryan is mostly online audience, while anupama retains all the old members along with new caste.

Well, it seems rituji also left not accepting the change in her character, without maa-beta no conflict of Tripathi's in imlie's life as other characters were supportive

Now that I think of bringing malini back could be the better option. Her exit had most impact on trps than any other. Mayuri actually brought something to the table.

Anuj is more sanskari and Aryan is more of a feminist.

Trp aunties ki idiology clash hoti hai Aryan se, anuj se nahi hoti. but if that was not a quality in him, we wouldn't like aryan much.

I thought its because anuj more smiling and flirty on screen , than aryan whos more stiff !!
