^^yes of course..I never used the word 'evil' as one that can in any way describe Albus Dumbledore.
He was thankfully stopped from proceeding too deeply itno the path he had chosen, a terrible price he paid for that mind you...But still, Had that incident (Ariana's death) not stopped him, then who knows what would have happened?)
But therein lies the true nature of a person...Ie: had such a thing happened to Voldemort, he perhaps wudnt have cared a fig...Thats bcoz his nature was one that 'evil' in a sense. But Not Dumbledore's...he may have been blinded but never had he evil intentions. Had he ever had an "evil" streak, he wudnt (couldnt actually!) have made that choice to undo his wrongs.
But sumtimes, when u are into enjoying too much of this thing -Power, u can forget urself, lose ur reasoning ability and your brain's voice may score over ur heart's..but at one juncture or the other, U gotta cum back...bcoz life is a full circle...

voldemort was not insane.....he was a genius but yes he was evil....if he wud not hv been evil and if he had used his powers in the correct way.....he wud hv been as powerful a wizard like DD...dats wat i feel.......i place them almost on the same level in my mind😉

^^In my opinion, Voldemort was quite an insane person. No person is on retrospection, BORN EVIL....
He was someone who embarked on a journey of exploration of all kinds of magic blah blah, but he was attracted by the lustiness of power from his prime itself. His fantasy for this drove him quite out of his mind, he forgot all the finer happinesses of Life (not that he experienced it or wanted to) and he was so obsessed with his passion that all he wanted was more n more power...he wud slaughter any obstacle in his path...His passion drove him really insane...
But there is of course the saying 'A sane man is simply a better liar than an insane man.. '
so maybe, Voldy was the sanest! 😆

hello!!😲 voldemort was born evil!!! he was the only person i cud find hu was evil from his birth.....apart from being in slytherin and heir of slytherin as well...he was a descendent of salazar slytherin. In the orphanage he started 2 rob kids....2 bully kids😡. he was evil then. [though not much but he was]....then at hogwarts he was clever and used his handsome looks [he was displaying his evil intentions......his want 2 know abt horcruxeses]....while working at borgin and bukes he murdered hepzibah smith [i think thats her name] and after that we know he was evil all his life....my point is that in the 6th buk...when harry and DD were in the orphanage [DD memory]....when voldy was told that he was a wizard...JK Rowling described it as an evil grin....i think voldy was definately born EVIL😉

^^^The argument that a human is 'born evil' just refuses to penetrate into my mind as a justified thought.
A person is made into what he is thanks to what he has been thru in life. He is what he is made into.
I am not blaming anyone else for what Tom Riddle became in life. But, there is no denying that he had a very difficult childhood at the Orphanage. His nature was a proud one, a 'superior' one acc to him. Of course, when he discovered his unique talents, he used them quite maliciously on others...This needn't point towards a germ of EVIL as such, But just that he was a timid faint heart.
And then, when he came to Hogwarts, he wanted Fame and other worldly achievements and he was sorted into Slyherin (Slytherin ISNOT the synonym of EVIL, I hope u agree there) and he grew up under all the wrong impressions and he mercinary love and passion for all those dark secrets drove him quite out of his mind. And the Fact that HE was the Heir of Slytherin did nothing to lessen his headstrong nature. And his hunger for Knowledge and Power drove him to Insanity. But as I said above, I dont know who exactly is SANE as such!
But I adhere to my opinion that NO PERSON can possibly be "born evil". He are all born "Humans".
The difference in our opinions of this subject is bcoz of a difference in perception of life and human nature...

PS: I dont want to make this sound paradoxcal coz I posted in sum other thread that 'Umbridge was born a git' or sumthing..that was just a statement in passing ok...😊 But come to think about it, How can a person be born anything other than as a tiny piece of flesh enclosing life in it? This tiny bit cannot have any of those sophisticated attributes...
