James wondered who might have sent that gift to him. Might be one of the Slytherins!He thought angrily.

Sirius and Remus were playing chess.

And Peter was watching them.

Just then Lily, Isabella and Hannah came down.

The three boys eyes darted towards them automatically. And all the girls blushed.

'Hey Potter whats with your eyes?' Hannah asked him.

'Don't ask me…..some stupid prank' James muttered.

Everyone laughed. But Lily dint.

'Who sent it?' Lily wanted to know.

'No idea…might be one of those slytherins…maybe that stinky snivellus'

'Don't say that!'

James raised his eyebrows.

'I mean….umm….'

'Yeah I get what you mean!' James said angrily.

Lily was always defending Snape. There was something fishy.

He dint care that he sounded angry and impatient. He was really pissed off with that stupid prank- his eye was hurting badly.

Plus he dint know if Lily really liked him.

He was just frustrated.

He got up and went out.

James threw a stone in the lake. He always went there, when he was upset. No one knew about that place. It just gave him a chance to think….

Someone placed a hand on his back.

He turned around to see Sirius standing there.

'Padfoot?' he asked. He was surprised.

Sirius sat next to him. Removed his shoes and dipped his legs into the soothing water.

'How did you…?' James was cut short.

'Marauders map…' He said with a lazy smile.

James stared at the firmament.

All the Gryffindor and Slytherins had gathered in the quiditch field.

The slytherins all dressed in green sweaters, muffins and cloaks.

And the Gryffindor s in yellow and red

Dumbledore stood in the centre. He was incharge of this.

'Good evening students. Today's match....Slytherins versus Gryffendor. The house which will win this game will play against Ravenclaw tomorrow. The marks will be given according to the way you'll play, every snow ball thrown at the slytherins will turn red and the snow balls thrown at Gryffindor will turn green. It may sound lousy, but you'll will not have more fun…..And the rules and regulations are….'

Everyone muttered in disapproval.

'Are none…..afterall alls fair in love and war!'

Everyone cheered.

And thus the match began.

Everyone started making balls and throwing at the opponent team. It indeed was fun! Everyone were having a blast….some were making balls and the other throwing them!
Lilly made a snowball and passed it to the guy next to her. James.

Lilly stopped.

But James did not notice her.

Then he did, after all he said 'Evans buck up!'

'Evans?' she thought sadly.

The match was proceeding very well.

And through out the match James did not act any friendly.

And Lily dint feel any better.

At the end of the match. It indeed looked like Christmas Red and green everywhere!

'And the winner is' Dumbledore said. 'One of the two groups. We'll announce the results during diner'

Everyone moaned.

Everyone were leading back to the castle excepting for some who were hanging back.

While James went to the Castle Lily was few paces behind him.

'James….' She called out.

She did not know why. But she did.

'yeah?'

'Uhh… Umm….Uhh……Are you coming for the rounds tonight?'

'Yeeaaah…..why?'

'No. just asked. Your eye….'

' I can see Lily'

He called me Lily. Not evans!

'Yeah if you want rest…'

'What you dont want me to go for the round with you?' he asked purposely.

Just then Tashika called James.

'Hey James….We are having a party tonight. Classroom 451 coming?' she asked with a total fake sweet voice.

'Sure' he said with a smile. She touched his shoulder. Smiled and walked off.

'Fine am not coming!' James said and walked away.

And Lily stood there swearing at Tashika in 12 different languages!

'He meant it!' Lily thought angrily. Seeing that James hadn't turned up.

I should have known. He never liked me. He liked my looks. He thought i was challenge, since I always turned him down. Lily you are not worth him. He is just a bully!
He went with Tashika. Obviously she is so pretty. Not!She was such a air-headed snooty girl! She was like as if she was made of plastic! Fake Barbie doll! And that James. Let him burn in hell!

That time James entered. She looked at him surprised.

In a angry tone she said 'You turned up? I thought you were going to Tashikas'

'I aint that irresponsible Lily. And just so that you know it. I like just one girl. And its not Tashika!' He said walked faster.

She felt a pang of guilt!
She thought so bad about him!
'Why are you behaving like this with me?' she asked him , catching his pace.

'How am I behaving?'

'Like this. Ignoring me'

'Im not. I know you're here. That's why im talking to you. Definitely not halucanation'

'No….you're not that friendly with me!
You're not flirting with me!!!!!!

'No I am. Just keeping my distance. And since I know that you will turn me down. Im not asking you out. If that's what you mean'

'Sweet dreams? Eww. How girly! I don't want to dream sweet stuffs....... Adventurous stuffs'
