How many of u would like to have seen lily-snape as a couple and why? I for one am a totally lily-snape ship supporter.. I dont knoe but dis odd pair has always attracted me.. Its like good meets evil.. Slytherin & Griffinydor.. Somehow i dont find dat attraction in james-lily pair..😳

Emm no ways....the thing which un-attracts me about this pairing (apart from my L/J love) is that Lily never probably ever saw him in that light....he was her best friend for her....

Also I find Snape's love for her obsessive....and and too disturbing....not normal...something too fanatical and extreme

I don't mind reading unrequited Snape mooning about Lily sometimes, if its written well but I can't read Lily reciprocating since I'm a very canon-fixated person and what's non-canon....and disagrees with it....well...it disagrees with me 😉 😆

I would!!! Your right, they do have this kind of spark between them 😆 But without James, Harry would have never been born 😕 Although I do wish that Snape and Lily did become a couple. It was so cute how he always protected Harry because he was Lily's son 😊 😊 😊

well as Rowling said..It just seems wierd to be in love with Snape..I think of him Marrying Lily...Omg! Unthinkable! Snape is the 'Cold' Prince of Love...what an Irony man! 😆
never mind Sev..Lily chose that Potter...so there is one big cross on her..U dont want her...sum better ppl are out here (I straighten myself importantly!)

PS: Snape isnt Evil...! 😳 😆 lolz..ok a Bit evil! 😆 😉 But he is the Prince ...Pumpkin head James ki toh...! 😆 😉 😆 (No offense Guys I am no James 'hater' as such..But neither am a Fan!) 😳 😆

Mostly I go with canon pairings unless it's a pairing I've come to love for a character before they got paired off happily with some other character, i.e. Harry/Ginny because I had been pairing him off with Draco (the "thin line between love and hate" got me going on that one) even before Harry started noticing Ginny as anything other then Ron's sister. Seeing as I read the first four books in one sitting I never really gave a thought to the pairings introduced (James/Lily, Arthur/Molly, Ron/Hermione, Lucius/Narcissa etc...). Any pairing made after that (unless they're both new characters) were not really taken as lightly by me since between the release of the fourth and the fifth book I had time to pair off the more prevalent characters and I don't usually change my mind. One pairing kindof sticks...

So now that I've rambled for half a page. 😆😳 I don't think I can see a Severus Lily pairing ever working but maybe that's 'cause I'm just used to the idea of James and Lily. *shrugs* Don't get me wrong, I've never been a James fan and after the fifth book, one can say I even dislike him. Me being a huge Severus fan, one can guess why that is.

N i find snapes love 4 lily sweet but james liked her 2. N its sweet the wat he changed abit 4 her. he was abit mean n stuff but he was never evil!!! snape was evil at 1 point n mean at times. evn tho he changed himself 2 but it was 2 l8. James got there 1st. n she obviously liked james 2 afta he changed. perhaps she would have gone with snape if he didnt join the death eaters.
i think snape was abit obsessed with her.

Nways lily n james r the best!!! i just cant imagine snape and lily.

James-Lily for me always...

for some reason I've always hated Snape 😡 I mean ever since 1st book I've hated Snape just like Harry hated him...and then after 7th book...some of my thoughts about him have changed but that "hate" turned to "dislike"...just because the way he treated my jaanu Harry.. 😭😭

I always liked James-Lily because until the 7th book they showed it that way 😕 ...that it was always Lily-James...in 5th book I thought that Lily-James were those kind of pairs (you know Karan-Nandini,Angad-Kripa,Armaan-Riddhima etc). Those meaning they hate each other at first but then that hate turns to love 😳😳
but I dont see how Snape's love was obsession as some of you are saying it?? 😕

I adore Sev, but I like him single. In JK's interview, she said at one point it is more than likely that Lily was in love with Sev, but his love for the dark side made him lose out. They were best friends till the 7th year, where finally Lily breaks it off b/c of Sev's dark love. So Lily was in love with Sev at one point in her life.

But all in all, in many respects at least, Sev was 100X times better than James, and I'd choose a guy more like Sev. He was 9 when he saw her red hair fly, he was in love, haye. He loved her for basically his whole life ji, and that is soooooo aaawwww(yup I'm a sap lol). His patronous, his life for those green eyes, haye. He protected Harry who looked like James from head to toes, the guy he hated most, only b/c he had Lily's eyes. I don't dig the James/Lily pair, but I prefer Snape single like this. I just love the way his love was. A confused soul that never understood how to express the love 😭

ah how I hate u!😆 U hate Snape coa he hates Harry...u me and Snape bhi form triangle then?!😆😆😆 Jusrt kidding...
nyways...abt the obsession part...dont lets start that yaar..we have already talked too much on that subject arriving at no conclusion and so its better to believe whatu want to believe as it is anyway...😊 I too dun think 'obsession' is thew word but there can be no universally accepted meaning for anyhing and if it suits u, then so be it....personally Snape lily remind me of Yanni's 'Nightingale'!😊
