well I adhere to my opinion that Severus' love for Lily wasnt Obsessive. I fail to grasp what u call as a "normal love". Perhaps"Obsessive Love" may be synonymous with "intense love" for u? 😕 for a person to have lived deviod of love, care for all his life, its only too normal that he may show byronical characteristics. Intensity in feelings is the most prominently seen attribute of a Byronical character and Rowling herself agreed once that Snape and Sirius are byronical heroes in HP....
