How Draco became the owner of the Elder Wand when he disarmed Dumbledore:(The Elder Wand Confusion)

Draco wasnt supposed to be there at the time of Dumbledore's Death or at least, he wasnt supposed to beat Dumbledore-Draco BEAT Dumbledore because he disarmed him and took him by SURPRISE. Snape killed Dumbledore but he didnt become the Elder Wand's Owner bcoz it was almost a suicide from Dumbledore's part. He has allowed Snape to do it. hE HAD PLANNED IT WITH sNAPE. Snape didnt Beat Him....Draco used his own wand at that time and Now also he uses his own wand (Till Harry Disarmed him at Malfoy Manor)---The WAND is not what matters yaar---Its the OWNER who matters....Harry beat the OWNER of the Elder Wand by Disarming him(Draco) and so he became the new owner of the Elder Wand which Voldemort had extracted from Dumbledore's Tomb. Ok lets say--Remember how Dumbledore became the owner of the Elder Wand---He BEAT Grindewald and he won the ownership and Grindelwald GAVE the wand to him...The Elder Wand never works against its owner, so when Voldy used it on Harry- it backfired on Voldemort himself

and then how come Harry enters Voldemort's thoughts but Voldy doesnt use him---Harry always did that from Book 5 he cud understand what Voldy was doing especially when Voldemort expressed his only feeling ANGER and Fury. Harry CANNOT control it. He never was able to learn Occlumency. He couldnt stop himself from doing it. and then WHY Voldemort didnt USE harry---Voldemort once used Harry and that resulted in his existance becoming public to the wizarding world which was not part of his plan. he feared using Harry---it is mentioned that he feared doing it again....

Dumbledore PULLED down from his high esteem--Good lord why are we being so ignorant!!!😭

My respect for Dumbledore has bounded many times more after this book..Till now he was this larger than life, always the saint-like Character who was never wrong, and with this book---as I said earlier, it has been made clear-NO MAN IS BORN GREAT-HE IS MADE GREAT.

N Dumbledore is the Greatest of all Wizards in history---For:

He dreamt of Changing the world for good. In that effort he was unable to give the same dedication to looking aftre his family-whom he loved a lot. But as he ays-He wanted fame and glory- He wanted to be known the man who chaged the world-the man who used his extraordinary BRILLIANCE for the good of all. He wanted the Hallows---But he wasnt Voldemort or Grindelwald--He wanted to use it not to establish himself over everyone else---He wanted to use it for the good of the people. He wanted to HELP them not destroy them. He planned it all all the way- He knew each n every person's character and he knew whom to trust and not to. Fcae it--This was all Dumbledore's game..from the beginning he had a picture perfect figure of what is gonna happen! He is just miraculously brilliant a man He feared his own brilliance after Ariana's death. Just think abt it---He was unable to fulfill his responsibility as a brother, n who knows he himself is unsure from whose wand came the curse which killed his sis, it could have been himself! Just think abt what he must have felt what he must have suffered---he HATED himself for all this! He knew his restrictios and limitations. He feared his own brilliance and he refused the post of Minister of Magic and cobfessed power cannot be trusted in his hands--He SAID THIS TO HARRY! N then he tries to bring back his family using the Resurrection Stone---"I got Carried away Severus"....He wanted his family back..cant u see the weeping heart of a man who had lost all?!!!😭 He says that he was a fool, he had learnt nothing after so many years...He proved the power of LOVE---The Strength of the same Love he had been talking of from the beginning! N he proved that he is just like you, me Harry--just like a common man who had feelings and emotions and weeped over his own mistakes and loved his lost loved ones toooo much.
  • n then=---HE CONFESSED ALL THIS TO Harry. He hid none of this form him. If he wanted he could have. He says that he hates himself, he says that he was a fool, he says that Aberforth was a much better man that himself-HE ACCEPTED THAT. He understood his selfishness and that is what makes ALbus Dumbledore the greatest of Wizards and the best of men to have ever lived! N still u say he was brought down from what we loved him for?😭

hOW WAS dUMBLEDORE "DEFENDING" HIMSELF. HE WAS SAYING HE WAS WRONG, HE WAS SELFISH N STUFF...hOW WAS HE DEFENDING HIMSELF. yOU FELT HIM TO BE "defending" coz you felt he was right, you felt he was as great as u had always known hm to be. It was all happening in Harry's mind. Whatever doubts Harry had in his mind...Deep down in ur heart, the answers too all questions are hidden....Those doubts were cleared..Harry ws REALISING it!

I started loving Albus Dumbledore more than anything else after I read the chapter "King's Cross"!

I thought the twist n the chapter King's Cross was fabulous..as I said..Harry knw the answers deep down in his heart..BUT WE DONT KNOW IT YAAR!!! N Harry was clearing his own doubts while out own doubts were being cleared...The man with all the right answers has always been DUMBLEDORE from the beginning itself..so why should Rowling change it at the end!!!?? Why not ake the greatest of Wizards itself answer it all?😉 N then he Harry a train back to conciousness! N just the last tine in the chapter when Harry asks if its all real...Dumbledore says "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it is not real?" 😉

at the end..James Potter jr...he is just like harry's dad...it was just for fun though I agree that I too found the epilogue mushy and unwanted...only I loved it when harry says "Albus Severus"👏

You explained the 'elder band' confusion so well!! And I think I agree too. I was under the impression that the wand has to be taken and not the owner just "defeated or overpowered".

About Dumbledore…

He maybe great for all the reasons you have recounted and there is no denying them…I think I preferred him when he was saint like and someone who had a perfect vision of what was going on and what would happen and what had to be done. Maybe like Harry I was in awe and was disappointed that his perfect image started to crack up. Was it necessary to turn him into a human with flaws and fears??? Maybe yes for you and to JK Rowling, but I was sad that it had to be…. Call me a romantic!!

Yes, King Cross is about Harry coming in terms with his feeling about Dumbledore and realizing the stuff you have been telling us…. (the word 'defend' and 'angel' is carelessly used). What I have tried to say is that in this book so many characters have suddenly turned out to be so unlike what we thought they were. Snape, for one, had only one thing going for him and that was that Dumbledore trusted him. Other than that we all hated him for the way he treated Harry in school and doubted him for his loyalty. That point had to be cleared and was done so well. And the second was Dumbledore… who suddenly turned out to be human!! Maybe it is the 'kahani main twist', but I felt sad that dumbledore turned out to be so different from what we had been led to believe in the first 6 books….. for me the contrast is stark... the bad boy has our sympathy and the saint turns out to be a (great !!) human after all.

but you know what I would really have liked if I knew what Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Harry were doing for a living now 😳😳

any ideas?

Well i asume Harry is an Auror, and i think Ginny is as well because she does not seem the type to sit the house, she's more adventurous😛

I felt that was the greatness of JKR's work... she made us believe that what a person looks like isnt the whole truth...
if a person like Snape can be such a lovable person then a great wizard like Dumbledore can also have flaws....
she taught us that priorities and love make us what we are.... and that is what is so loving about this writer 👏

well..I understand you yaar..But take me too mad a fan of his...when u said "pulled down from glorious heights"...awww...it paineddd!!!!😳 Coz I personally love this man who made mistakes, who learnt from them, but still couldnt overcome that feeling of love for his lost family and then confessed it all...I love this human Dumbledore...bUT i KNOW...It was kinda amusing for me when all this 'revelations' were made..I too was kinda surprised..But after King's Cross...I felt just like Harry---"How could he be angry with Dumbledore any more?!"😳

But I am glad that I cud explain the Elder Wand thing...😳😃 Its just that to be the Owner of the Elder Wand, its not mandatory that U GET that wand in ur hand

Yeah, eventhough she destroyed the image that dumbledore was purely perfect, she made all her characters human since they all do mistakes😳-but that does not make them bad person

^^^ Rowling didnt DESTROY dumbledore's Image..yaar DESTROY is too strong a word.

Till now..Dumbledore was the only man who was all this saint like, never wrong, ;arger than life man. all the others were human. Rowling just made it clear that Dumbledore too was HUMAN! 😃

which is why he understood the feelings of each n every one of the others! Bcoz he has suffered much in his life..what he suffered...I dun think even Harruy did..Coz he suffered the burden of being actually indirectly responsible for his oiwn sister's death!!!😭

another way, the status of their secret will remain as it was at the moment
of their death. Everybody in whom they confided will continue to know
the hidden information, but nobody else "

and a little later

"The only people who ever knew their precise location (Lily and James'
location) were those whom Wormtail had told directly, but none of
them would have been able to pass on the information.
"

you can find the whole text in the FAQ section of JKR's official website
under the FAQ poll.

so if i understood this right, since i read it 5 times already, no one but the
secret keeper can divulge the secret and if he/she dies, those he/she told
are gonna be the only ones who know the secret and no one else. they do
not automatically become secret keepers and they cannot tell anyone else
the secret.

so if that holds true, there was no need for the order to be afraid that
snape would give the death eaters the location of their headquarters
because he cannot. it was also mentioned that those who already know
become secret keepers which is not at all in line with JKR's answer.

Hi, I had answered your question before.
This is basically what JKR wrote on her website:
Well, when the secret keeper is alive, the people to whom the secret keeper has divulged the details cannot tell it to anyone. They cannot divulge even if they want to.

This is what was the info written in Deathly Hallows:
However, when the secret keeper himself dies, the people to whom he has divulged the secret, they themselves become secret keepers.

So, when DD died, all the people who knew about Grimmauld Place became Secret Keepers for it.
And as secret keepers, they could now choose to divulge the details..
And unfortunately for them, Snape, was one of the persons who knew the secret of Grimmauld Place. So he could tell anyone else

Well I understood what you want to say dear, but I would like to say you one thing that NO MAN IS BORN GREAT,IT IS HIS ACTION,HIS PRIORINIES,HIS UNDERSTANDING OF THE SITUATION AND HIS HIS BEHAVIOUS MAKES HIM GREAT.History is evedent that all the once great man did have a past for they have repented till death. Those who accepted their wrongs, their guilty conscience teach them what thwey have to do so that they don't repeat their mistakes.Everyone must learn from their mistake and try to brighten their future as Ashoka or Dumbledore did.

I was wondering about Hermy and this thought crossed my mind may be she still runs S.P.E.W and is a housewife os she will never employ a elf to do the job.

With Love,

Shiya

I may not be completely right but...when harry was accidently hurt by the fang in the Chamber of secrets....he only lost a bit of his blood...his SOUL was not lost....and even then he was healed by Fawkes...and when he puntcured(sorry spellng mistake) Riddle's Diary if he would not have done it many times a bit of his soul might haved still resided in the book.but when his sould gave a blast .(When riddle blasts into smithereens(again spelling mistake)) it meant that the horcrux was COMPLETELY distroyed..

Actualy i did not understand your secong question
i.e. how come voldy flies
