I read the book. Spellbounding, but in my opinion, unnecessary deaths. Why kills Tonks and Lupin? Wasn't necessary ... Harry was not as close to Lupin as he was to Sirius ... so it wouldn't have affected him so much...
Harry was a horcrux ... but he died (? I dint get this part) and met Dumbledore in King's Cross's station (?? This is even weirder!) and discovers that he was a Horcrux all along and now Harry can kill Voldemort after Nagini is killed. Nagini was killed in the end ... by Neville, who miraculously got the GG sword from the Sorting Hat (the same GG sword which Griphook had stolen!). The diadem of Ravenclaw was ruined by Crabbe's fire thing (in which he died, thankfully). Voldemort was killed in the end by Harry Potter, after all his Horcruxes were destroyed in the end...

It was a good book ... in parts ... I was surprised how she dragged it in places ...
I was so happy when Bellatrix was killed... I hated her for killing Sirius ... just wishes Harry would've killed Bellatrix ...
The Harry - Ron conflict was not necessary IMO ... it dragged the story a bit...
However, the fights wwere well described ... so was the Bathilda ...

Harry never died.. the horcrux in him, the part of voldemorts soul died (u know the night his parents died... harry became a horcrux).. harry's soul is now fully is. And thats what dd was explaining to him. It all happened in his head while he was unconcious..

the secret keeper thing was really weird
remember in OOTP mad eye moody gave a slip of paper on which the adress was written..and it was by dumbledore
he said no one can know it unless the secret keeper himself tells him
but then how did hermione make yaxley a secret keeper simply by taking him there...

and yeah it was mentioned somewhere that the secret dies with the secret keeper...though i am not sure where it was...

Yaar look at it...See what James did to Snape at School..agreed James did it just for fun in the spirit of a student just jokin sense and he really was a good man..But see thats not the way Snape took it...Dumbledore always said--"Its funny the way Human mind works"---Snape was broought up in a very miserable household..his dad n mom never got together well...n his life was all Hogwarts as Harry sais "Hogwarts was home to orphans like Him,Riddle and Snape"...N at that home, he was miserably treated by some fellow student...can u actually blame him??? N that debt he had to James burned his insides--IT IS COMPLETELY NATURAL! If I was him(Lol..I can never he the great brave man he turned out to be!!!😆 ) I wud have reacted the same way...and to add to all that Lily married James--James whom he hated..Lily whom he loved with all his heart! N Harry always reminded him of James---Harry was the son of James and Lily...the woman whom Snape loved sooo much---he reminded him of his own loss! Of his own misery!

Mate...There is no way Snape is a bad charactre...He is one of the best of the characters in he book and I completely love him for that sheer Bravery that he showed to protect the boy whom he hated...n that true nd PURE love for the only woman he ever loved!👏

i dont think i can hate snape but still he will never be in my good books....

the fact that he loved lily and saved harry cannot overshadow the fact that he told voldemort about the prophecy that made him go after the potters...
he was responsible for putting their lives in grave danger...

he was willing to compromise lives of james and harry....he might have hated him but he could have spared them for respect for lives or simply for lily..

remember dumbledore also said" its our choices not our abilities that make us who we are"

emotions are one thing, actions are another....
and while judging someone his actions are as important as his emotions....sometimes even more imortant..
just like lily knew snape had feelings for her but the company he chose was wrong no doubt...and that he CHOSE it..so it was correct for her to choose a seperate path for her

after their death what snape did was in remorse...he loathed himself for causing lily's death...

but the fact remains he was the cause of their death..

no doubt he loved lily and till his last breath he loved her

And also I am completely thrown off about the Secret keeper thing...I remember on her website JKR said that the secret dies with the Keeper...but in the book she says that everybody that Dumbledore told the secret inturn becomes a secret keeper...it was'nt convincing....

Well, what she said was true enough. When the Secret Keeper dies, the secret dies along with him. But the people to whom the secret is already known, they continue to know the secret. That's why the Trio, the OotP and all the people who knew the secret before DD's death, could see Grimmauld Place and the other DE's didn't.

So thats not a blooper at all. I rather thougt she explained it quite well.

Actually I have one more question...when snape was dying ebcause of the snake bite.. Hermione was right behind Harry and she had her white bead purse with her in which she had Dittany which she gave to Harry when he was struck by nagini in Godric's Hollow...so why didnt she do the same to Snape????....because Harry wanted to save Peter Pettigrew even...so i think Snape deserves atleast trying....

Probably because, if you remember, Voldemort had given a stirct warning to all his DEs and probably also to Nagini that, should they encounter Harry, they should not kill him. He and only he would kill him.

So, Nagini injured Harry but she didn't aim to kill him and so I think she didn't use any venom or anything fatal.

Snape's case, she got a clear order of "Kill him" and she crushed him instantly.
Also remember, that Hermione came to Harry's help instantly and blasted the room and she was able to help him with Dittany because he wasn't attacked to kill.

Snape's case, they could hardly do a thing. I doubt dittany would have helped him. He died in five minutes. The snake venom was very fatal.

It was not a question of Harry's pity, there was just no time left for poor Snape
