Happy 18th birthday to Matthew Lewis!

Matthew Lewis, who was born in Leeds, England on June 27, 1989, is 18 years old today. Matthew Lewis plays Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter movies. His favorite bands are Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Nirvarna, Iron Maiden and Twisted Sister, and his favorite football team is Leeds United.

Gary Oldman to quit acting?

As legend Paul Newman retires from acting, another looks to be going in the shape of British actor Gary Oldman.

Although Oldman is only 49, he confesses he is less enamoured with acting than he was when he was younger.

"I've had a great career and I'm very lucky to do what I do. But I've been doing it a long time and you can get tired" Oldman told PR-Inside "You might say I want to change careers or to do something else".

Oldman has established himself as a legend of the screen over 25 years. His most memorable movies include the Leon, Coppola's Dracula, True Romance and The Fifth Element.

But Oldman's exit from acting may have to wait with rumours swirling that he has committed to play Jim Gordon in the new Batman series.

Registration for Sectus 2007, the ultimate event to celebrate the release of the final Harry Potter book in London, will close on June 30th (this Saturday). In order to be registered, you must have paid in full by this date, so you will need to allow a couple of days if you are not paying by PayPal. Please click here to register if you have not already. There will be a limited number of places made available on the day, but for guaranteed entry (and a lower rate) you must register in advance.
