Harry was in touch with the wizarding world, and made FRIENDS that took care of him right after he turned eleven. On the other hand, Voldy's friends did the things that VOLDEMORT told em to do...so, if it wasnt for Ron and Hermione, maybe Harry'd had turned out this way...but do u actually want to be like the person who killed your parents??

...and for your next point "Harry didn't kill Moaning Myrtle or open the CoS...but still, Harry has a very 'angry' personality,,,could kill the ones he hated:
1, Dolores Umbridge
2, Severus Snape
3, Lord Voldemort.

This shows that Harry has an EXTREMELY similar personality to Voldy, and that its just the matter of how u interpret what Rowling is showing us...cuz its all about HER point of view, if she calls Harry innocent...he is. But if u see the data closely, Harry is very similar to that Dark Lord.

Well looking from a fair point of view I think that Voldy deserves PITY and I think that this is what JK tries to convey. Dumbledore says that Harry has a gift that Voldy doent have and that this is LOVE. I think that he means that Harry should love his enemy(that means not hate his enemy and feel pity)

Getting back to the topic, JK hasnt shown any hints that Voldy is capable of HAVING a chance and even if he had one I dont think he wud use it. After all HE HAS the chance of redeeming his bad acts. HE is the head of The Dead Eaters and he can easily command them to stop what they are doing. He is not a slave to be afraid of what he does.

HE HAS THE CHANCE STILL BUT DOES HE USE IT??????

He does deserve a chance-everyone does BUT the difference is that Voldy HAS the chance but doesnt use it!

Thus is my opinion.

Hira, Harry is also a human-he isnt an arahat not to hate! His hate towards Voldy, Sanpe etc. is human! Simply bcos Harry is the hero does n't mean hat he doesn't have any negative traits.

Nutz says he doesn't use it....hmmm.... interesting.... it's a good point, he doesn't use it, and there's the fact that he HAS been given chances.... but does he deserve them??? I say yes... he has right to have the chance... whether he takes them or not..... is another debate.... *sighs*
