"So Lily how was the dance?" Alice asked at breakfast buttering her toast.
"Actually, it was-"
"Mine was better then awesome." Nicolle said cutting Lily off.
"I know, mine too!" Alice exclaimed.
Alice and Nicolle began talking about the dance, while Lily sat and listened with a fake smile on her lips.
Why do they always do that? They always ask but never let me answer, it's like they don't care about me-- No, that's not why, this is what friend ship is about…sharing things, but I wish sometimes just sometimes they would let me share, it's just rule obeying Lily Evans for them.
"---he was the best dancer!" Nicolle was saying.
Lily once again dazed back into her thoughts but this time they focused only around the hazel eyes that had slowly taken over her every feeling.
"Heya Lily." Tanu said as she took a seat next to her.
"You seem lost, everything O.K?" She asked
"I'm good, you?" she replied.
"Same old, same old." Tanu replied, "Hey how was the dance?"
"It was okay." She lied, "how bout yours?"
"Actually, I didn't go!" Tanu replied.
"Why not?" Lily asked curiously.
"Well, ---yea I didn't know we were having a dance." She said, and then hurriedly added, "I wouldn't go even if I knew."
"Wait, you didn't know, it was the only thing talked about for two weeks." Lily said highly amused.
"Hey, I was busy!" she replied.
"Sure…. Anyways if you knew, you wouldn't go?"
"Nope, I don't go to dances, don't wear dresses, and lastly, I don't dance." She replied as if that was the only thing she had said in 2 weeks.
"Interesting!"
After a pause Lily walked off to the heads dorm, she didn't feel like talking.
"Galuchi." Lily said absent mindly.
The door swung open hitting her with a bitter, sweet aroma. She walked cautiously over to James who was making a potion. He was sitting on the coach with a book in his lap, scratched his head in puzzlement. His brows stitched in deep thought.
"You need help?" Lily asked casually.
"Umm, yea if you could that'd be great." He replied relief apparent in his voice.
"What is this for?" Lily asked casually looking into the cauldron.
"Slughorn gave me a potion to do for breaking 5 of his most valued cauldrons." He replied.
"Oh, I see."
Lily took a seat next to him, "JHere, let me see the book." She read the instructions three times before peeking into the cauldron once more.
"You added too much sendu vile." She said, "Your ganna have to redo the whole thing."
"Oh Man!" James said hitting his with the book, then rubbing his head furiously.
That was so cute--- Wha—Snap out of it Evans…
"I'll help you."
"You will?" James asked peering over the book.
"Yea, its not like I have anything else to do." Lily replied, mentally kicking herself for saying she'll help him. It would take 5 hours for this to finish, how was she going to survive.

"Ahhhh, James your doing it all wrong."
"Well Lil—hey you called me James!"
"Don't get to overly excited, I just said that because I felt frustrated."
"So I should frustrate you more, so you'll call me James?"
"No, just pass the kinkudok."
"What's that?"
"It's the little green thing."
"Are you talking about your eyes? Why I would never do such a thing that should harm your beautiful eyes."
"OH POTTER, NOT AGAIN, JUST GIVE ME THE GREEN BOTTLE."
"Okay no need to shout sweetums."
"Don't call me that!"
"SHUT UP BOTH OF YOU!!!!" Gryffindor shouted from his painting, "Five hours straight you guys have been fighting. I need peace and quiet. I'm going to visit my ol' pal fruity."
"Fruity?" James asked his face with sudden seriousness.
"Yes, any problems?"
"Oh no, it's just that, that name fruity is such a fruity name."
"Bye!" Gryffindor said agitated with the two teens.
"Fruity?" James asked again looking over at Lily.
The both busted out laughing. "Hey Lily, fruity is calling!"
It took about three straight minutes for them to calm down. "Hey look the potion is ready!" Lily said excitedly, this potion was such a advanced potion that even Lily had looked baffled.
"Yea, now imagine Slughorns face when I hand him this!" James said closing his eyes, as if ot imagine the fury in Slughorns face.
"Hey Lily," James said, "Thanks for helping me out, it really helped."
"It's nothing." Lily said quietly.
"Hey Evans, want to go out sometime."
"Not in a million years Potter."
