I understand why you said 'Rat' but Scabbers was owned only by Percy and Ron.

And Ron (though tall) did not actually want scabbers right. 😆

HINT: Think of other tall people from the series and what they wanted. 😉

Well almost everyone has the right answer. I have to admit, when I thought of the question, only the cup (Hufflepuff's Cup) came to my mind. But yes, I have to agree...It can be the ring and locket (both Slytherin's) too. All were objects that have been handed down the generations and all have been turned into horcruxes. 😊

However, it cannot be Ravenclaw's diadem or the Invisibility Cloak because the diadem was never passed down through the ages and the cloak was not used for any such dark purpose. 😛

Haha...ok 😊. The answer is 'Sock/Socks' 😆

I am owned by almost one and all (self-explanatory)

But was wanted by someone tall. (Albus Dumbledore saw himself holding a pair of socks when he looked in the Mirror of Erised)

I am quite common and quite small

Soft and easy to roll into a ball. (again self-explantory)

Then what is it so special about me

Just that I set someone imprisoned, free. (Dobby was set free because Lucius Malfoy unknowingly handed to him Harry's sock)
