i just got a thought, neville was usuing his dads wand, so he was bad at his subjects that needed a wand, but herbology doesnt need a wand most of the time, so he was good at it...and potions maybe he's just bad cos he is scared of snape, and now thinks that he is hopelesds so doesnt even try......it could be a possibility, right
