Hmm... Lily/Snape as albusdumbledore pointed out. That's quite difficult, but for some reason I DO think that there is a possibility Snape fancied Lily... and his hatred for James increased because Lily ended up with James. It's funny that a Slytherin like him would like a Muggle-born, but still... I think there's a possibility. I don't think, however, that Lily liked him, even though she defended him in the flashback we saw in OotP.

i'm absolutly sure that snape fancied lily, so wen she married james, snape got angry and told voldy about the prophecy, and told voldy to kill james but not to kill lily, or else why would voldy tell lily, that she didnt need to die...i mean since wen did he care about sparing anyones life. so wen voldy killed lily, snape went to dumbledore and became spy for the good side, cos he felt guilty...that why he helps harry, without harry noticing, because he feels guilty that if he hasdnt told voldy about the prophecy, then lily would be alive today, and also because he loved lily and harry is also lilys son.

the rest about snape being innocent etc, u can read on www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com

I do believe that Dumbledore is dead. But, doesn't it makes sense? JKR had to make Harry the real hero since she is going to make him die in the end, so she made Dumbledore give all the info to Harry about the horcruxes, and then made Snape kill him.. And, by this, she gained two things, she'd be able to schow that Voldemort now trusts Snape completely, or somewhat more than anyone else, and Snape spying on him, and Harry will be shown as a real hero, finding all the horcruxes himself, with maybe some help of Harry and Ron, and killing off Voldemort as well. And, she had to kill of Dumbledore one time or another since throughout the sixth book she showed that he was getting old, and killing him this way probably fitted the most...

Yeah, I agree with what you said.. That might be the reason why Snape turned good. He probably wanted revenge on Voldemort for killing the girl he loved, and he probably hates Harry only because he was son of Lily and James.. He didn't want to see her with anyone else, and Harry was the proof that she had married James, so he probably doesn't like him for that reason, but still cares for him (somewhat) because he was Lily's son...

I thought of that! It makes sense, but the only thing that's troubling me is that why would Voldemort STILL give Lily the option? I mean, honestly, he's shown to have NO fondness or compassion for anyone - would he REALLY care if Snape said to leave Lily alone? Unless there was something to do with an Unbreakable Vow on Voldemort's part, but then that's a scratched idea because I just can't see Voldie making an Unbreakable Vow. Another thing to scratch that idea is that Voldemort would have died from breaking the Unbreakable Vow, rather than from the curse having backfired.

But I still think that you're right... we can't have all details figured out, can we?

Yes, that's why he seems particularly obligated towards Harry in some ways. I understand that he wanted to save Harry's life because of the debt towards his father, but I still think that his love for Lily might have fueled it a bit more. Also, the whole thing about him just leaving such a precious book (Advanced Potion-Making, in which he scribbled as the Half-Blood Prince) seems so suspicious. I wonder if he did it to help Harry in any way?

Well, I think Snape's innocent.

Here's what I think happened:
After Snape made the Unbreakable Vow, he probably told Dumbledore. Dumbledore, being how he is, decided he had to be killed either by Malfoy or Snape. When Draco pointed his wand at Dumbledore, Dumbledore said, "You are not a killer Draco."

Before Snape killed Dumbledore, Dumbledore kept pleading or begging. If Snape told Dumbledore about the Unbreadkable Vow, Dumbledore would have wanted to be killed. If he didn't than I guess Snape had no other choice.

So who's side is Snape really on? He might turn out to be a second Peter Pettigrew aka Wormtail. Maybe he betrayed Dumbledore if he told him about the Vow. he might have just used him.
Or he might be a Sirius Black, faithful like a dog. It might have been Dumbledore's orders to be killed.

I strongly believe Snape is Innocent 😊. Here goes What I feel-
I feel Dumbledore's Death or Faked Death( whatever!) was a sacrifice he himself chose to make to protect Draco from being killed at the hands of Lord V(remember he was going to kill Draco if he fails to kill Dumbledore). While dying Dumbledore pleaded "Severus...please". Dumbledore is a true wizard, he would never beg in front of anyone so I guess what he meant was "Severus...please kill me!" so that Snape could gain the trust of the Dark Lord and help Harry(rather help the whole world but Harry) to kill Voldemort for good.

It's true that Snape Hates Harry,Loathes him and maybe wishes him dead but I also believe he knows that there's world out there excluding Harry Potter and Killing Voldemort is vital for the world's future and unwillingly, how much ever he detests Harry they've the same goal ( Lord V's END!) and he will help Harry out to realise this goal.
Long answer, I know but I couldn't help it 😉
Bottomline:
SNAPE IS DUMBLEDORE'S MAN TOO!
