Dan says Australia's M rating for GOF is justified

thanx to veritaserum

Daniel Radcliffe told News.com.au that he believes that the M rating for Goblet of Fire in Australia is justified, saying, "People would have been disappointed had it not got an M-rating, or not a higher rating than it had got in the past. The nature of the book, a 16-year-old kid dies in Harry Potter Four, you can't make that light and frothy, there is no way of doing justice to the story.

"If you are going to do justice to the book, it has to be dark. There are some kids who will be able to see it who are six or seven because they are very resilient. Some kids - 10, 11 - will be a bit more sensitive and won't be able to cope with it quite so well.

"We are not actually cutting anyone out, I think we have put it more in the hands of the parents and I think that is right."
