Prathna is disgusted to hear that the thakrals knew that Victor who died saving Sans... is non other than Mrs. D'souza's son and despite that used his death to cover up what actually happened at the pub. Sans is heartbroken and feels guilty for what happened to Victor and tells Prathna that she will support her in her fight to expose the real truth about Victor's death, even if it will disgrace the family name. When the family hears that Prathna and Sans have teamed up to bring the truth out, they go against it. Even Akshay is against this and tells Prathna to stay out of this, until he learns later that Rio and Vishal have kidnapped Sans inorder to keep her away from spilling the truth to the cops. Prathna and Akshay rescue her from the kidnappers. Akshay vows to support Sans and Prathna in their fight for the truth. When Rio learns of this he is worried that they will go to the police and give their statement of what really happened at the pub, so he plans to trap Prathna in a false allegation that she was the one to kidnap Sans. But his plans are foiled when Prathna, Sans and Akshay go to the press and tell the real truth that Victor was murdered and the murder was covered up and declared as a suicide by Rio, Vishal and the DCP. But thier confession takes a sour turn when Sans spills that she was on drugs that day. She is later bombarded by questions regarding drugs. Akshay does his best to cover it up, and the media is convinced. Later Prath tells the media that all they wanted was to expose the truth and then she praises the Thakral family saying that they are and always will be the reputed family who had the courage to do the right thing. Aksh and Prath decide to move to Tauji's place. The whole family except Sue, Prem, and Sans are furious at them. Akshay adresses Rio and Sue as mummyji and papa, on Prath's request, which moves Prem, Sue, and Sans. Prathna vows to bring out the love that Rio has for his children, which is now hidden away in the glitter of high society.
